Why was this person on duty alone on third shift especially in a remote location?

Find him, kill him, bury him. No need to waste tax payer money on sending him to jail.

And hopefully those days will be few because he'll be on Death Row.

If it's found to be someone from one of our many "RV" parks in Alvarado, maybe our city leadership will take note of the direction our city is taking and they continue to ignore.

yes why was she alone is the best question so far, i know for a fact the owner didnt want to pay 2 people to work , on top of that he only hires women to work there iknow this cause i used to work for that greedy bastard. the owner of this station needs to step up and take some resopnceabilty for this, he took no steps to prevent this, even that day when emploies asked to close for the night he told them no that someone wo9uld have to work that night, we will all miss Karen, this was a horrible thing to happen to anyone. and what gave this waste of humanity the right to take someones life. i hope that someone comes forth and gives this waste of flesh up, he or she dosent deserve to be free nor to be living. i will remember Karen for being a very cool and loving person who loved her family very much.

I wouldn't be surprised if the owner was Middle Eastern or Pakistani...they will risk anything (not themselves, tho)to save a buck. So sorry to hear about this, makes me sick... I hope people will boycott this place in protest.

I agree with you on a person working alone at this gas station and and I am really sorry for what happened to Karen. I had the privledge of knowing and talking to to her every day and find it hard to believe that someone would take anyones life for no reason at all, but I ask you to get educated and quit accusing a certain race when you know nothing about the shooting other than what you have heard or seen through the media.
For your information their are 3 suspects and they (are not Hispanic)!! We will miss Karen and send our Love and prayers to the family.

The MO doesn't sound like a Hispanic thug robbery, but one of another culture.

I also noticed in the video that the robber seemed to be familiar with the store, the camera location, etc...I bet he/she had been there earlier and even observed how the clerk operated the cash register - OR is a former employee (?). It seemed to me like he/she was trying to remember how it was done, but failed.

Your exactly right, I saw these two a few days ago walking around the store so I waited around one went into the store and the other stayed outside. I stayed and then went in so they left, I thought well they are just kids, I asked Karen if everything was ok and she said, " everything is fine babe". So, I went on I had seen these two several times hanging around, but nothing diffent until a week ago. Now I just found out who did this, the same thugs that would go in and beg for fountain drinks, the same two I saw that night. I just wish I had been there that night...

Have they been arrested? Are they teens? That guy looked so scrawny and dopey, but knew what he was doing, like he had some experience.
