Back in the U.S., and back in trouble

Federal officials have sent Jose Trinidad Sanchez-Azpeitia packing to his native Mexico three times since 2003. Yet the illegal immigrant keeps coming back and getting into trouble, including convictions for drug possession, damage to property and fleeing a police officer. He has lots of company. In the past month in Minneapolis, federal officials indicted eight men in a growing effort to slow the revolving door of illegal immigrants who return to commit other crimes.

We have enough of our own homegrown criminals! We don't need to import more!

And yet, these are the people Obama wants to give citizenship to. Are we ready for this? Do we really want it?

Well it looks like mexican p.o.s. Jose Trinidad Sanchez Azepitia ( what's w/ the 4 last names? Does he have three husbands?) wants to stay in our great country. Ok lets make an example of Joe and put him in jail for 20 yrs. We should be glad to pay the cost. It will help make it too painful to try and come here. Should save money in the long run. He can tell his friends and family how he lost all his freedom, how he became someones bitch etc.

I think that ok Obama should give citizenship to them when and only when they havent had any serious convictions. Im originally from EGF and have now been living in Illinios for about 7 years. I have some Mexican friends and as far as it goes alot of them just want to work and make a better living for themselves. Yet dont get me wrong, there is alot that just come and cause trouble, but hey dont all races have the same problem? Its like they say, " WERE ALL NOT SAME"

It won't do any good to apply for the job unless you are willing to work for below minimum wage and no benefits.

your right why apply for those jobs...but someone has to do them. McDonalds for example...go to any of them around here and what do you see..exactly, but if we want to eat fast food someone has to work there in order for us (that dont want those jobs)to eat the food from these places. I mean dont get me wrong, some of these people dont deserve being in our country but some do just come here to get away from the way life is in other countries and want to make a better living else where. Can you blame them wanting to come here, our country is what it is..

Fast food jobs? Perhaps American high school/college students need the income? Naw,hire an illegal;they know nothing of OSHA or over-time laws.
If people are fleeing 'the way of life' in their country,then why do they re-construct the same lifestyle once they reach the U.S.? High drop-out rates,huge families they can't feed? Garbage-strewn barrios?

You seem to have it wrong. Fast food jobs along with babysitting, house cleaning, gardening and dozens of other jobs were once done by high school and college students along with housewives.
Now, those jobs are almost entirely done by ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Where do you get the idea that CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIEN SQUATTERS deserve to be in this country because they "just come here to get away from the way life is in other countries and want to make a better living"?

No matter what their intentions are they sneak into this country, steal jobs, use stolen ID and use billions of dollars in medical, educational and social services to which they are not entitled.

No, I do not blame people for wanting to come to the U.S.. But wanting to come here and being able to are different. We have a most generous immigration quota let them apply and come legally.

I might want to live in Beverly Hills for a "better" lifestyle but I do not have the right to break into someones home and steal and lie to stay there.
