Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician and the junior United States Senator from Vermont. Before serving in the Senate, he represented Vermont's at-large district in the United States House of Representatives and served as mayor of Burlington, the largest city in Vermont. Sanders is a self-described democratic socialist,[2][3] and has praised Scandinavian-style social democracy;[4][5] he is the first person elected to Congress to identify as a socialist in six decades.[6][7]

People who use subsidies to help pay for their Obamacare policies may get a nasty shock at tax time, when the Internal Revenue Service could hit them with a big demand to repay the money.
While it's in the law, it's still likely to make plenty of Obamacare subscribers angry at the IRS.

Many people, instead of having to cough up the money for the bill, instead will see smaller income tax returns,

But not all taxpayers will have to pay back all the money. Those within 200 percent of the poverty line will have their repayments capped at $300 per person and $600 per family, an amount that increases until one is at 400 percent of the poverty line, for a maximum of $1,250 per person and $2,500 per family.
Those who earn more than 400 percent of the poverty level, or $45,900 per person and $94,000 for a family of four, could have to repay their entire tax credit.
Wow, that's insightful. And correct.

It's not government's fault it ' some ' people can't figure out the system.
And they report projected income too low and have to pony
up taxes later. You would prefer that Obamacare not provide
any subsidy until tax resolution time instead ?

Some people will complain about a gift horse.

You can't have it both ways...It is proven that countries that have a national healthcare plan that their citizens live healthy and longer lives.

And they certainly do smoke and eat as well.

Your argument is just fallacy..

We could say the most healthcare dollars are spent on citizens that are elderly.....
Why bother with Medicare...they should just have to buy health insurance like everyone else..because I bet plenty of them are overweight and we're paying for a lot of elderly with smoking related illness and sure alot of diabetics....why care for them when you refuse to care for those not eligible for Medicare?

Yet... when paul Ryan suggested moving Medicare for Fatasses like you toward private insurance you went crazy and opposed the idea. Does that mean you just hate TAMARA you stupid bitch? Yes, that is exactly what that means, you are another hater that I really do hope dies a very violent death real soon bitch.

In other words... your argument is pure fantasy and you have done zero research and are just as stupid now as you have been your entire pathetic miserable FAT life you stupid ignorant bitch. Countries with National Healthcare have not solved the universal and seemingly irresistible problem of rising health care costs. In many cases, attempts to control costs through governmental fiat have led to problems with access to care, either delays in receiving care or outright rationing.

In wrestling with this dilemma, many countries are loosening government controls and injecting market mechanisms, particularly cost-sharing by patients, market pricing of goods and services, and increased competition among insurers and providers. As Pat Cox, former president of the European Parliament, put it in a report to the European Commission, we should start to explore the power of the market as a way of achieving much better value for money?

Moreover, the growth of the government share of health care spending, which had increased steadily from the end of World War II until the mid-1980s, has stopped, and in many countries the private share has begun to increase, in some cases substantially. There is even evidence of a growing shift from public to private provision of health care.

If the trend in the U.S. over the last several years has been toward more of a European-style system, the trend in Europe is toward a system that looks more like the U.S.

Therefore, if there is a lesson which U.S. policymakers can take from national health care systems around the world, it is not to follow the road to government-run national health care, but to increase consumer incentives and control like America has always been.

Logic and reasoning have never played a roll in the ignorant liberal ideology. That is why you morons are considered the most ignorant America has to offer and always will be. I have debunked your bullshit before and since you are known to regurgitate bullshit over and over, I will have to do it again. Vermont does not have such a system nor will it until they can figure out how they can pay for it you ignorant dumbass. Perhaps read what they say themselves about it and the comments from the citizens at the bottom of the page. Now quit posting stupid shit on our thread.

Wow the whole Benghazi Boogallo is falling apart for the right...

No AQ involved, just Libyans that supported their dictator and hatin on the US and the Video did stir them up and help them recruit others.

Man, rushing to partisan judgement and not waiting for the results on the investigation REALLY does look like a partisan witch hunt designed at the time Mitt Romney shot off his big mouth about Benghazi. Then add mix in some monkey court trials of Issa's and you make up a real Republican inspired bugaboo.

All made on the backs of slain Americans just doing their jobs in a dangerous part of the world....tsk.tsk.

People are getting signed up for the ACA....and you can do nothing about it..

Your trumped up scandals, Benghazigate and IRSgate, have been disproven (Bet Hillary is smilin) and the only competition to Hillary in the form of Gov. Christie is being swamped in his own scandal Trafficgate.

DNC sends email defending Obama from impeachment possibility

7:11 PM 12/28/2013

Patrick Howley

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) sent out a paranoid email Saturday evening urging supporters to vote for Democrats so that Republicans can’t impeach President Obama.

The email, subject line “Impeachment,” was sent to Obama for America supporters, imploring them to contribute to the DNC’s 2014 efforts.“What do these people all have in common?,” the email asked, featuring quotes from Republican Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, Rep. Kerry Bentivolio of Michigan, and Rep. Blake Farenthold of Texas discussing the possibility of impeaching Obama for one of his numerous instances of presidential misconduct.

The DNC email discussed the “I-Word” and said that “Republicans are actually excited about the idea.”

“Show these Republicans that they are way, way off-base, and give President Obama a Congress that has his back,” according to the DNC email, noting that Democrats need to win 17 GOP House seats to reclaim a majority.

The DNC, which recently expanded its political tactics to include boycotting independent news outlets, previously supported the last president to be impeached: Bill Clinton.

Obama’s staff changed key talking points on the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack; his Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative groups during the 2012 election cycle; and Obama personally lied to the American people when he told them that they could keep their existing doctors and health insurance plans under Obamacare.

Obama’s expansion of executive branch authority is “setting the stage for something very dangerous in the future” according to Republican Rep. Justin Amash.

<quoted text>You do like to argue.
Did I put an age limit to what I said.? NO I did not! One more time! You said that Obamacare was going to make everyone healthy. I said everyone would not be healthy just because they have Health insurance because of Obamacare. I said nothing about not having health insurance or whether everyone should or should not have health insurance. I said if the American people don't change their lifestyle of bad habits health insurance [Obamacare alone} was not going to magically make the people in our country healthy.
Now Karen please learn to comprehend what was is being said and stop going in the wrong direction.
We know you want most of the elderly's healthcare stopped. We know you think we are not worth us being saved if we get sick. Now stop putting the wrong spend to what others post.
As for the elderly having to buy insurance like everyone else I would got for that as long it is like you get yours paid for==FREE and paid for by taxpayers dollars!
The wrong spin is the correct term not the 'wrong spend."

Sorry, but you and the Republicans don't have any answers to the health insurance problems that before Obamacare were helping to take down our economy.

People can read charts and understand why the US world rankings slid down under other Western countries that have a national health care plan.

Even Oklahomans read and it's reported on our very own newstation's that Okla has the worst health rankings in the US....and still the working poor can't get help.

But really Tamara, concerning the ACA, your side lost..but it really doesn't affect you, after all your the greatest purveyor of government run healthcare and living proof that American's really do LOVE government run healthcare.

Plus-size, double-chinned Barbie sparking controversial debate

Plus size Barbie FB

A controversy is brewing over a request to remake Barbie in way contrary to the iconic image so many girls knew growing up.

Plus-Size-Modeling.com is suggesting Mattel create a plus-size Barbie. While some say more realistic curves would be a better role model for girls, others say an overly large Barbie would be an unhealthy example.

I believe this guy, who has been involved in this stuff for over 20 years before I believe NYT, Little Green Idiots, Obama, Hillary, or Karan Janbaz, which do nothing but give uneducated opinions.

A former analyst for the CIA skewered the New York Times' bombshell report on Benghazi Saturday, contending that it was a "politicized article" aimed at harming the GOP.

"I thought it was a politicized article," Fred Fleitz told Fox News. "It tries to say that Anwar al-Sharia -- that the Republican attempts to tie that to terrorism is a stretch, when even CNN says they're at least sympathetic to Al Qaeda."

Fleitz, who worked as a senior analyst at the CIA for nearly two decades before serving in the State Department, added that he thought the article was simply "an effort to revive this discredited theory that the anti-Islam video was behind" the deadly attacks.

"I read this report and I was really incredulous," he said. "It seems to be an effort to revive this discredited theory that the anti-Islam video was behind it. But when you read behind the article closely, there's various statements where the author seems to downplay the links to terrorist groups."

"It seems to be an effort to revive this discredited theory that the anti-Islam video was behind it"

"He says the main leader of the attacks did not have clear terrorist links, but he also says that this leader participated in a convoy of trucks in Benghazi in June 2012 where they were flying the black radical Islamist flag," Fleitz added.

The ex-analyst also casted doubt on the report's findings, saying it "really doesn't" pass the smell test because the "article is based on interviews with Libyans."

"Most of the Libyans deny they had anything to do with this attack," Fleitz said. "Well of course they're going to say that. They don't want to be prosecuted. They don't want to be arrested."

He concluded saying he felt a lot of critical information was left out or downplayed in the report.

"I think there were a lot of statements about terrorism that really don't add up," he said. "Al Qaeda has changed it's tactics. It is now a decentralized organization. It is relying on affiliated organizations and franchises. It is encouraging terrorist attacks through this decentralized organization. That should have been discussed in this article so the reader would understand the real threat."

Packing Heat comes home early one day and finds his wife sitting naked in the bedroom.

"Why are you sitting there naked?" he asked.

"Because I don't have any clothes to wear."

"Bullsh*t," Packing Heat says, opening the closet door. "You have tons of clothes. Look, here's a red dress, here's a blue dress, here's Zane, here's a flowered dress......."
