The people can only be fooled for a short time and then the voters will get rid of the dead wood repugs.
It will take many years to undo the damage of the ignorant repugs once the simple minded vote them into power. Repugs do not know how to handle power. They screw everything up.
Time to clean house in okie city in 2014 and get rid of the ho and her sheep dog. Time to get rid of inhole and there other rupusses in congress.
By January 2017 demorats will control congress and the white house.

The latest campaign filing reports show Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin has nearly $1 million in her campaign war chest as she eyes a re-election bid in 2014, even though no formal challengers have emerged.

In a campaign finance report filed late Wednesday, Fallin reported raising $432,000 during the three-month period from April 1 to June 30, with about $970,000 in cash on hand at the end of the quarter.

No Republican or Democratic challengers have emerged to take on Fallin in 2014.

Failure for Oklahoma Democrats to field a gubernatorial candidate in the next several months would result in the Democratic Party no longer being recognized as a political party in the State of Oklahoma.

Hey @ssclown, it is worth noting, A Democrat has not won statewide office in Texas since 1994. Rick Perry decided he would not run, not because he is not loved and appreciated by an overwhelming majority of Texan's, you pathetic ignorant piece of trash!

Voters would prefer The Honorable Rick Perry over any of the Democrat Trash in a gubernatorial matchup next year 53 percent to 39 percent, according to Democratic firm Public Policy Polling’s survey. Perry would also beat Democratic San Antonio mayor Julian Castro, 50-43; Houston mayor Annise Parker, 52-35; and Bill White, Perry’s last general-election opponent, 50-40.

Republican Attorney General Greg Abbott will be the next Governor of Texas if he decides he wants to be and chooses to run. Democrats have found it difficult to even find a job washing dishes in Texas, never mind they could ever become Governor again, ROFLMAO to Texas and Back.

Wendy Davis made an ok first impression on Texas voters , but the chances that the state turns blue in 2014 still look very slim to none since the majority of Texans simply see Democrats as a bunch of down trodden parasites, unfit to serve Texas in any meaninful way and they have absolutely zero chance of ever being Governor anytime in the near or distant future.

Perry has said he doesn't plan to run for re-election. His decision was expected in back July, but it was delayed after he called the State Legislature back into a special session. Since he will not run, Republican Attorney General Greg Abbott is considered a likely nominee by many in Austin and definitely the next Governor if he so chooses.

As for Oklahoma, Democrats are almost non-existant all across Oklahoma to the point that even all dog catchers are Republicans too! The Democrats in Oklahoma are considered homeless dumpster divers and will not be considered a political party after 2014 since none of those parasites has the guts to step up and get their @ss beat by Mary Fallin again. Mary Fallin will in fact be the next Governor for Oklahoma in 2014 going forward and the Democrats will be... well... quite frankly just bunch of losers as always, if their best loser doesn't step up and lose again then they will no longer be a political party in Oklahoma again.

It is time for the repugs to go.

You can fool all the people some of the time and part of the people all the time.

BUT in the end foolish repugs are cast out.

I doubt Mary Fallin will get elected again because of a simple reason. She pissed off the people that vote for her. The majority of Oklahomans are farmers/ranchers (or come from families that are/were) and Native Americans (or of Native descent).

Between the horse-slaughtering bill and the whole Veronica Brown incident, I highly doubt she has many supporters at this time.

As a native american and a hard core republican, I will vote for anything that runs against the present governor of Oklahoma, even if it is that old yellow liberal dog.

And since all five of our republican US congressmen and that fool senator inhole will not support native americans, then I will also vote against them and active be vocal about their agenda.

Every native american should study and understand which politicians can and will support our rights under the laws of the land.

This is a nation of LAWS according to our politicians, yet some, like the governor of Oklahoma, tend to bend the laws to suit their purposes.

We need a governor that will help the people, not the special interest who will try and succeed at buying their agenda.

Mary Fallin blocks same-sex benefits

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin has ordered the National Guard to stop processing requests for military benefits for same-sex couples, her office confirmed Tuesday, despite a Pentagon directive to do so.

Fallin spokesman Alex Weintz said the governor was following the wish of Oklahoma voters, who approved a constitutional amendment in 2004 that prohibits giving benefits of marriage to gay couples.

“Because of that prohibition, Gov. Fallin’s general counsel has advised the National Guard not to process requests for benefits of same-sex couples,” Weintz said.“Gay couples that have been legally married in other states will be advised they can apply for those benefits on federal facilities, such as Tinker Air Force Base, rather than state run facilities.”

Fallin ordered the policy change Sept. 5, Weintz said.

The policy is a shift from how the Guard had been handling requests for benefits from same-sex partners in the ranks of the roughly 9,500 guard soldiers and airmen in Oklahoma, said Oklahoma National Guard spokesman Col. Max Moss.
Moss said the agency had been processing benefits for same-sex soldiers just like those from heterosexual couples until Fallin’s office ordered the change in policy. He said state officials already had helped process benefit requests for two gay soldiers before Fallin’s directive.
Moss added that any soldiers who request marriage benefits for their same-sex spouse will be informed how they can receive those benefits.

“If we have a situation where we have a soldier who’s in a same-sex marriage, we’re going to explain to that soldier how they can go about acquiring those benefits,” Moss said.“At this point, that’s directing them to a federal facility.
“We want our soldiers to have all the benefits to which they’re entitled to.”

The Pentagon announced last month that same-sex spouses of military members will be eligible for the same health care, housing and other benefits enjoyed by opposite-sex spouses starting Sept. 3. That decision followed consultation with the Justice Department and the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in June on the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act.
After the U.S. Department of Defense began allowing same-sex couples to apply for identification cards and benefits, National Guard officials in Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana said they would refuse to process the applications. Like Oklahoma, all three states have gay-marriage bans and are led by socially conservative Republican governors.
Fallin’s decision prompted the president of a support group for gay military families to call for the Defense Department to “stop this discrimination.”

“Since the governor of Oklahoma has decided to join Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana in playing politics with our military families, we need immediate and decisive action from the administration and the defense department in affirming that all military spouses, regardless of sexual orientation, will be treated equally,” Stephen Peters, president of the American Military Partner Association, said in a statement.

Since Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) hardware, software, and ID cards are property of the federal government, the individual states requiring their National Guard facilities to deny DEERS are not following lawful orders from the Department of Defense regarding the enrollment of lawfully married, same-sex couples. Since these facilities aren't following lawful orders from the Department of Defense, these facility's ability to enroll personnel into DEERS, and issue DoD creditials, should be revoked.
