I am in the Los Angeles area.. I am legally ordained clergy. Any same sex couple need an officiant signature on their marriage license I will sign it.

There are examples in nature within the animal kingdom and with in botany of homosexuality. It is only part of nature. It is natural and proven through nature. Animals, Plants and Humans.....

Before the creation of Christianity most cultures had official recognition of Homosexuality. In India, Africa and in pre columbus America Gays and Lesbians were respected members of the community. And in many cultrues they were the shamans.

I think you stepped in in the middle of something here. I know all of the above, and I am gay myself. The poster asked why, if G-d does not make mistakes, there are so many homosexuals, to which I replied "BECAUSE G-d doesn't make mistakes (that's WHY there are so many homosexuals).

I always find it interesting that religious people will consistently say "The bible says homosexuality is wrong and we have to do what the bible says." The problem with that line of thought is that the bible also says that:

It is ok to sell your daughter into slavery.
We should stone to death disobedient children.
It is ok to take more than one wife.
People of illegitimate birth should not be allowed in church.
Anyone who works on the Sabbath (Sunday) should be put to death.
Women are not allowed to speak in church and should be submissive.
It is ok to kill someone for simply cursing their father or mother.

It is so funny to me to watch religious folks run away from these like the plague. They say that these references are outdated. You CAN'T pick and choose which aspects of the bible you want to follow and which ones you don't. It's not fair and it's not right!
