Pollard is evil! Parrish builds him up as being calm when interviewed. HE'S A SOLDIER. HE IS TAUGHT TO STAY CALM UNDER PRESSURE!!!!! Parrish portrays Pollard as a devoted family man. Both BTK and the Boston Strangler were "family men." But that didn't stop them from killing. I hope he get's life.

So, what you're saying is you were in the truck with him that morning?

No one knows what he was doing that morning but him, that is why we are leaving it up to the jury to decide.

I know him personally, and although I can't honestly say he did or did not do it, but I do know for a fact he is a compulsive liar. A really, really good, believable liar. The kind of liar that when he gets busted on one he will fight to the death that he didn't lie, even with the proof right in front of him. That is the part that scares me and I just can't decide either way.

Ironically enough, it is not whether the jury members think that he committed the crime. It is whether or not the State proved that he committed the crime. From the outside looking in, I don't think so.

I love how all these stupid people who have not spent a day in the court room are out here saying that he did it! I hope you all realize that you are a complete dumb ass. As far as you go "honset truth" You are more stupid then the other people that post on here, I have served over seas with him and know what he is like and have spent time with him outside of the military and you have no idea what you are talking about.

I think that he did run her over and kill her. BUT proving it is not going to happen. Too bad.

You can't hit a dog without causing damage. How come there was no damage to his truck. Wrong truck or wrong vehicle? They need to find out what vehicle hit her. It sure wasn't his truck.

Beyond a reasonable doubt. Good job of being fixated on a red truck and someone that works in the area Altoona pd. Way to waste taxpayer money and let the real criminal literally get off with murder. This case was hopeless from the get-go!

Not good...sounds like someone else may be in front of a judge shortly...or hopefully! The DA should be ran out of town to work on livestock theft cases for a bit as well.

It's all about getting a conviction of someone. The register just ran an article saying how prosecuters are rated by their conviction percentage. Isn't that great justice?

I have a feeling we are missing some key evidence here that cannot be used in court thanks to our great American legal system. For instance, under the iowa courts online it shows Pollard being charged with assault in August of 2009. What is this charge and how come we don't know anything about his past, and why they alledge he may have done this? You know why? because it might sway the jurrors into thinking he is a bad person and possibly could have done this. Whether he did it or not I have no idea the whole thing just seems shady to me. I don't think the police are going after this guy just to "get their man" I just think there is some evidence that cannot be presented. You would be surprised at the things you can't reveal in a case like this. Like I said whether he did this or not, our justice system will always be made to protect criminals.

If you were in the court room...then you would know that there was ALOT of video evidence that was pretty incriminating on his part. This is a trial based on video evidence not DNA evidence. Really the still video images are an exact match from the 12/27/05 Walmart parking lot picture of his truck and the 1/10/06 picture of which he said he was in the WalMart parking lot that morning of 1/10/06. Who has the same truck with the exact same stickers in the rear window and same thing in the rear view mirror....think about it...
Personally I think Parrish paid Ray(one of the video expert witnesses) to say what he said on the stand...what a creepy snake by the way....Ray seems like a guy that would say anything if money talks! Funny how last Thursday Ray Messed up and said something he shouldn't on the stand and after the weekend probably with more $$ handed to him...he retracted his statement....this is BS!!

I couldn't have said it better myself!! A little birdie told me that he does have things that incriminate him and how he targets women for some reason. They couldn't bring it into the trial....that's what sucks about our court system. There was more than 1 incident in the past 5 yrs if you knew that would totally make you think he was guilty. CREEP!! I don't know how Pollard sleeps at night....he totally cried Tuesday because he knew what he had done to his family....

Well, I'm totally confused by it. I won't be surprised no matter what the jury comes up with. There certainly has to be more to the story and nobody has ever mentioned motive.

Like the fact of how she and the rittmans were into drugs. The fact of the domestic violence between the two. You mean things like that left out. The fact that her and her husband weren't living together at the time. The fact that they didn't look into this, and why was this left out of the court
<quoted text>
Heresay.....They had there rough times like any other family has, but they were definatly together and lived in the same home. They did question the husband like any other murder case would go...but look who's on trial....that's right....Justin.

Kind of odd that Pollard was a police officer on his duty to Iraq and probably knows alot more on how to cover his a$$.
