The Republicans are done. After pouring at least $10 billion each Month into the sands of Iraq that should have been spent on American schools, infrastructure and renewable energy, no intelligent person has any desire to vote for anyone from the GOP. After the Bush administration has allowed the oil companies to pillage the wallets of Americans and reap record profits while leaving oil leases they already own unexplored, no subsequent spin will get any Republican elected. And what about the endless sexual scandals such as Larry Craig's and others, and bribery scandals, the lies about climate change and suppression of scientists, the logging of national forests at taxpayers' expense, etc. The GOP has become the Grotty Old Party.

Obama Linked With Ethanol Special Interests

Obama preaches alternative energy sources, yet he supports a hefty per gallon tariff slapped on cheaper and more efficient sugar cane ethanol imported from Brazil.

Not surprisingly, he also favors the annual, multibillion dollar government subsidies that domestic, corn ethanol producers have enjoyed for years.
