I agree with the juries verdict. Based on what they had, it just had to go that way. Reasonable Doubt!

I am so happy that Justin Pollard was found not guilty. There just was not enough proof, dispite all the videos and pictures. Sometimes Jury's do it right.

Well way to go John Sarcone!!! you cost the tax payers of Polk County hundreds of thousands of dollars again!! You brought a weak case at best to try to convict a man who did nothing wrong and your Job should be on the line and you should be looking for another one!!! I hope this man sues the city of Altoona and Polk County for screwing up his life!!! I hope your office is held responsible for his legal cost!!! You Mr. Sarcone are the leader of this states greatest witch hunts.

YEAH! I won the pool! We here in Altoona did a pool on how badly the investigators from Altoona bumbled this case (as many cases before this too!)
Them completing and investigation without error was a longshot and had they completed their investigation in a true manner, they probably either would have gotten this guy convicted or discovered the real killer! Way to go Altoona Police Department, another one bites the dust!
Are we ready to clean house in Altoona yet?

I agree - You need some changes in your law enforcement team AND your County Attorney's office.

All of your comments are exactly right!!! This guy was not guilty and didn't deserve any of this. They brought on a weak case and he got off scott free!! Glad they put all their eggs in a basket through one trial so he can never be charged again! Go on and live a great life Justin!! You deserve it!! We all should wish him well and his family well after all him and his wife have gone through. And their poor daughter who has had to live through such a horrible thing! Shame on the state and the city of Altoona!

Oh yeah, one other thing, all of you who think he should have been convicted... well none of you sat through the trail so save your judgement because no one cares about it! The jury had all the evidence in front of them and you didn't! I would say they made the right decisions based on what they were presented with!

I can live with leaving an “E” out of spidey but I couldn’t live with setting a guilty man free.

I believe he is innocent too. It always strikes me as strange how a small city police department would attempt to hang someone who they had no strong evidence on and then attempt to manipulate evidence to try and pull it off a second time. These guys either need some training or need to be fired. Wasting good time and attempting to destroy a man who they KNEW they couldn't convict. It is pathetic . . .

Well, it just goes to show how the institutions of this state and nation are not worth the tax dollars spent on them. Polk County wastes thousands trying to convict an innocent man...ISU wastes $40 million on flood repair when they could have prevented the whole problem with a $20 million dike in 1994...local and state governments are the true wasters of tax dollars and the federal government has a nearly $14 trillion debt bailing the idiots out...hang them all..aho

He is guilty and if you do not all the details you can not comment. A guilty person was just sent free so hopefully your great freind is not ran over like mine was.

When he testified on his behalf, I felt he "may" have been telling the truth. Most guilty parties DO NOT testify on their own behalf. I need to see more evidence before saying my guilty or innocent opinion. Sadly, if he really was not guilty, he'll still have this stigma hanging over his head for the rest of his life.

A murderer walks free in Altoona tonight. So disturbed and repulsed. Dear Mr. Pollard, you will have to live the rest of your life knowing the truth...that will suck and keep you up at night. You will also have to deal with many in your community looking down at you.
