Sorry,actions speak louder than words.I just read in the paper where Codell Construction donated money to his campaign. Didn't they build the May safety complex? Just found it interesting.

Why turn this election negative? May has done a lot for this community. Out of curiosity, what can Thompson actually do other than attack?

Sure has. Primarily, mismanage it.

@Farm Boy
What can you tell us about the Kyle Thompson/Sellus Wilder connection?
I was considering voting for Thompson because he seemed to be conservative by saying he wants to hold people accountable until I saw him join forcs with Sellus Wilder in tag teaming their City Commission attack blame game for the Betty Burriss mess.
Thompson may not have had all the facts and perhaps Wilder twisted what he gave him but anyone with half a brain knows that Wilder was as in charge of what happened with Burriss as anyone given his intense micro-managing of city officials and staff, and his voting majority with Hedden and Turner. There's no way Rob Moore could be to blame, and Bill May holds a single vote at this point with no majority as Wilder has, so how could he have been responsible?
It was a nice try to spin the blame away from himself in time for the election, but those of us who know how the system works know Wilder's version was hogwash. Now, I'm thinking a vote for Thompson might be another vote for Wilder and I'm not interested in that.

Thompson and wilder are definitely not on the same page. They barely can stand each other. Thompson was totally opposed to garbage change during his debate that I saw on tv and he even called wilder out on it.

I know nothing about a Wilder,Thompson.However May should have known better in the first place having served as Mayor and made his objections known at the beginning and not wait until it got hot in the kitchen.All the current city officials including Moore should have known the right thing to do and not play politics with this issue.A crime was committed and should ha be been handled correctly.
