(Alton, MO)-- An inmate in Oregon County who tried to escape is now in the hospital. Sheriff George Underwood says Cody Gann, 20, tried to flee his cell Friday afternoon as he was being escorted back from being fingerprinted. Gann was being held for domestic assault and property damage. He'd been in Oregon County Jail since Wednesday. Sheriff Underwood says Gann broke free and led deputies to the nearby stairwell, where he fell to the second floor and injured his head. Gann was taken to a nearby hospital, before being transported out of county. He's still being treated at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. Sheriff Underwood says Gann most likely would've been bonded out by now. Instead, he may face escape charges once he's recovered from his injuries. http://ozarksfirst.com/fulltext... they give you the link above, it says nothing about him getting tasered |
they don't always give the exact details and the paper hardly ever gets anything right. but I was listening to the scanner and the ambulance even said he was tasered.
But I WAS on drugs at the time I heard that on the scanner! I love my meth!
lmao nice try!!!! thats one thing I don't do! Sorry to burst your bubble!
Just got off another meth high, folks! I LOVE that stuff! Sorry to burst your bubble again.
If you know who that is, and they are on meth then why don't you say their name or turn them in?? Obviously that is just an opinion you are forming on 1 comment they made that had NOTHING to do with dope you moron! |
I am with you "hmmmm". I like using Meth, too! LOL We should hook up sometime and dope together!:)
Lets get together and manually install tasers in these druggies asses and get a remote so we can seehow "high" we can makem jump! Bunch of vaginas. |
Tasers are not remote controlled devices, you idiot!
well i would gladly take a drug test anytime anywhere to prove i'm no druggie :) thanks for the concern though!
I know that numb nuts but you gotta figure out some way to set it off without puttin your hand back up they"re nasty drug ridden asses |

Judged: 3 2 2 Just flat pisses this reader off. There's indeed a lesson to be learned from disobeying the law. There's also a lesson to be learned from being a rude man with an egotistical mouthful of inadequate words. Just from being an observer, googling a few things, and reading comments by people regarding this young man- one has a few key things come to mind. 1. there was some sort of past where behavior would be punished, prior to this incarceration, some related to, some not. 2. this young man was in a hospital in springfield mo after an accident; and suffered a significant injury to the head/brain. was even comatose and artifically ventilated. 3. less than ONE WEEK later, this young man is in a "domestic situation" which resulted in incarceration. 4. while in police custody, this young man fled; was tased while in process of jumping over a balcony; and literally fell on his face. 5. sherrif underwood comments to news reporters; with obvious sarcasm & "I told you so" finger wagging. Now, here's why this pisses me off. The above information was all easily accessed via public records/searches. This "sheriff" is part of the insider side of information- yet he neglects to make such comments as "this was a tragic situation in which the young man's behavior, whether intentional or a result of anything else, is sad" or "We'll fully investigate why an officer felt the need to tase this young man, rendering paralysis, resulting in a lack of ability to catch his fall after jumping" Common sense tells me this, the head trauma that landed the young man in a springfield hospital is not minor. this young man apparently walked out of such hospital without permission, and was home shortly afterward. Head trauma can result in bleeding/ behavioral changes/ death.. a slow bleed lasting several days can create increasing confusion and panic for the body. There is the possibility that this young man was unable to make sense of the situations he was finding himself in, and acting on "fight or flight" impulses. This young man could also have been fully aware of his actions. But- if this initial brain injury was creating a behavioral situation, it would not be noticed as easily when people have decided this young man had a reputation (earned or not) for bad behavior beforehand. Last I knew, the only proven lack of judgement at the final incident was by the officer who CHOSE to tase him, rendering him helpless to break his fall/jump. To me, that is a crime. The young man is not to be exempt from any crimes committed knowingly, but simple hospital scans can determine if a lapse in conscious thought contributed. Oh, and as for the "face charges for escape after he heals" crap, funny how the docket sheet on case net actually shows the sheriff's dept released him on his own recognizance after the "fall".. oh, that's so they won't have to pay the medical bills for the INMATE still being under custody while he fights for his life in the hospital. |
