Why are there so many racists/white trash in the area?

Moved here not long ago. I've seen some younger adults through some social networking sites who take great pride in the color of their skin (complete with swastika tattoos).

Now, this past Tuesdays paper had an arrest photo of some champ in a knife fight at the Perry park with a swastika tattoo on the front of his neck.

Is it me or do there seem to be quite a few of these losers running around the area?
