CEC's Board of Directors approves facilities upgrade

The Citizens Electric Board of Directors voted Thursday in a special meeting to approve a building project that will upgrade their facilities.

invest in cold fusion then, a company in italy is now producing 1 mwatt units and is working on the casin for a portable 500 kwatt unit.

Well yeah! Even the CEC board members get health insurance for their entire family FOR LIFE! Here we struggle to pay our electric bill and provide insurance for our families, but they get it free (from us). Not to mention what the employees make an hour! I understand the importance of providing benefits and good salaries to your employees, but at who's expense????

And they are using a st louis architect and construction firm
We sit at home with no work and pay the bill
These directors are not in tune with the local people
Local contractors are more than capable of doing this project

I know 15 million is not a lot of money for citizens but they could at least keep it local to improve our small economy

This is just like the hospital not hiring local contractors
