Comedy begins very early in life. That kid that's always in trouble for talking or making classmates laugh while the teacher is teaching, will spend half his or her time in the principal's office.
If successful, the kid may grow up to be a comedian. If the kid fails, spending the rest of his or her life trying to get attention and laughs will prove very unsatisfactory.
We recently met an Altamonte Springs, Florida woman who at the late age of 58, has decided she wants to learn how to be a comedian.
Our suggestions to that comic we recently watched perform is...
If you haven't made it as a comedian by the time you're pushing sixty, it's time to start looking at other career paths.
Comedy is very hard and particularly cruel. If you're not strikingly attractive and outrageously funny with actual material (absent of vulgarity), your audience could easily turn on you.
Quite publicly, you may become the butt of some extremely cruel jokes.
