The long political slog to get SunRail rolling is over, and at the groundbreaking for the Altamonte Springs station last week, there were congratulations all around for a job well done.

I will be glad when this is done and so will anyone else who has used public transportation for primary trans. Time to step out of the 70s and 80s Orlando

I likely would have used the high speed rail between Orlando and Tampa on occasion, but it is unlikely that I'll use the SunRail. I hope it reduces the number of Lynx busdrivers creating chaos on our roads, though.

How long have you been near Tavares?
I remember when I looked at riding the train to Florida and it is so backwards that you still have to take a Greyhound bus to go as far South as I wanted to go. Long story short, American Airlines got me where I needed to be.
Florida's idea of a highway is what would be a back road in Texas.
I'm glad I don't have to drive there!
Didn't you say you moved there from Pennsylvania? Why?
