She did not do anythang to deserve to be killed. I just hope they charge that guy to the full punushment, that ks allowes. We live in a dangerus world.

I worked with her at a local buisiness in Coffeyville. I know several of the people who were in her company the night she dissapeared. This is just hear-say, I did not get this directly from an officers mouth, but from a good source non the less, they believe she may have died from alcohol poisoning and Chris lowrance dumped her body in fear of being blamed for her death. This sounds horrible, but at least if he did kill her, she was too intoxicated to suffer.

I have only been to coffeyville a few times and it just seems to be a little town, you would never think such a crime like that would occur! My friend that lives here works for a agency that sends nurses to crmc when they are short on help. She said that Cris Lowrance has been in alot of trouble before this and that this Rachel Girl was suppost to have been raped!!!!! Just what was she doing with a guy like that if he was so bad? I saw pics of that girl she was pretty even though she did not deserve to die I pray for the family and hope Rachels family can get through this. Do you think he is capable of murder this Chris Lowrance??????

I went to school with her at Tyro, and I can honestly say she was one of the nicest people I have ever met. My heart is with her family, I know she will be missed!

Are the police investigating her death? I have not read anything in local papers or heard anything about it on the news since her funeral. You'd think that in a town as small as Coffeyville, some element of this story would make the news every day.

Chris Lowrance had been out of prison less than a year, after serving time for weapons charges. The case has been turned over to the DA's office for prosecution. According to someone that was with her the night she was murdered, she was found dressed in a shirt and one sock. I have contact with the family and the woman she was living with and there is a serious gag order on this case, which is why no information is being released.

Rachel was my sons pre K teacher a couple years ago in Phx AZ. I just recieved this tragic news.
My prayers go out to her Family and especially her little boy.She was so good with Kids.A very gentle loving caring beautiful young Mother. It just makes me sick to think of such evil taking place. God bless you Rachel, Jesten misses you evertime we pass ChildTime.

I know Chris Lowrance. He was very wild and crazy from what I know of him. I have pictures of him at the spot we hang out at down on the south side of Coffeyville. Lindsay one of my friends received a ride from Chris and Rachael Dennis was in the back seat. Lindsay told me that the Dennis girl was tremendously intoxicated and probably on a couple of pills. What I personally believe what had happened to her was Chris and as I have heard around her a couple of South Side people ran a train on her and when she came to she was going to report a rape and they decided to kill her. I just couldn't believe the people I was hanging around with would kill someone. Chris is known down on the south side to pursue lots of girls. He just wants to have sex with all types of girls. But his wife Vicki is all he would talk about but when a cute girl (which Rachael was beautiful) would come by him he would say "what it is girl" Chris would get really drunk and drive his silver 2 door car and fly around the south side all mad and crazy like he would easily flip out. This is what I know of the whole murder.

well I actually know Chris lowrance since he was a little boy. His own family doesn't even know what is going on. Right now he is being held for violation of probation and nothing else. He admits that he was was under the influence of drugs and alcohol but she was also. He also wasn't the only that was there.

Lowrance was never in prison. He had a juvey bust for burglury and stole a shotgun. They dropped the weapons charge and he went to the Boot camp at Girard. He was out on parole, got busted for burglary again, found guilty, and was out on bail waiting for sentencing when this stuff all happenned. He is in prison doing time for the burglary now.
Some friends of mine knew Rachel Dennis. That week before she disappeared was her birthday, they said she bragged that she was going to go out every night and get totally wasted. The weekend before, she had to be almost carried out of Turbo's cuz she didn't even know where she was.
Bad stuff happens to people who put themselves in bad situations. Nobody deserves to die just cuz they want to have fun.

My friend works with Chris Lowrance's mom Jerryann at the hospital in coffeyville. She says that she never even talks about it. She is a very polite lady and almost everything with her is perfect. How can he come from a good up bringing and rob people and murder a girl. Could it be DRUGS? Who knows. I feel for both families.
