yea, i dint know you had the option now to take pics with animals for class pics, and come on, this was a stupid thing to do anyways! there is always a risk of getting attacked, so i also dont think the tiger should have been put down. and its a shame, he got put down cause this selfish girl wanted a picture with him, what abt getting a pic with a fence in between you??? oh, that wasnt cool enough for her, she had to be the dumb one right noxt to the big beast. and all i have to say is... oh well

I don't think it was right to kill the tiger. My feelings are she was stupid enough to think she could cozy up to it, she was to stupid to live.

Poor lil Kitty-Cat.

"All animals slip up once in a while." Which is exacly why they caught Son of Sam, John wayne Gacey, Jeffery Dalhmer and Charles Manson!!! When an animal kills a human it deserves to die. Any animal gives up its right to life when it takes another. If the tiger was killing for its dinner thats one thing but I don't think the sanctuary where it was living ever fed it humans. If that was your daughter would you forgive the tiger and let it live? Hell NO!!! It would be a rug in my den!!!

Are they serious????!!!!! They killed a wild animal that had no business being in this country in the first place. That animal was just doing what comes naturally. That girl had no business exploiting that tiger for her superficial need to have a better senior portrait than her peers. Where are her parents? Why did the "sanctuary" allow her to pose with the tiger? A sanctuary, by definition, means a safe place. That animal should have been kept safe from the exploits of humans at that so-called sanctuary. I have a teenage daughter and I would never have allowed her to do such a thing.

Humans should know better....animals don't. That animal perceived her as a threat, it had every right to defend itself. I have a daughter, and I would never have allowed that animal to be put down. I would have used the situation as an opportunity to educate people on the dangers of bringing exotic animals into our country and then not caring for them properly.

Drew, I would hope I would raise my daughter with more common sense. It was not the poor little tigers fault. She took her life in her own hands by being so foolish. Whats wrong with having a normal graduation pic? Her need to be better than everyone else caused this, not the tiger.

Where were this girls parents. Why would any parent that claimed they loved their child, let her take a picutre with a wild animal. The tiger is just what it is a "wild animal" Come on people think with the brain, not with what you sit on. I feelfor the girl's parents, but you had a hand in her death too.

christine and drew, i totally agree. why blame and kill the tiger? taking a wild animal out of it's natural habitat is cruel. stupid people taking pics with tigers is asinine . that's right, go ahead and blame the tiger for your stupidity.

The story says that the tiger was "killed" not put down or euthanized. I wonder if it was killed while trying to save the girl.
In any event, This should never have happened. Who was in charge of the tiger? Who was in charge of the students?

I know the girl Haley! I know her brother as well! She lied about being on her period.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Virgo

Someone is easily angered today, and you'll want to tiptoe around them at every opportunity. They might be on the defensive and imagine that you're getting at them all the time, or they could be quick to point the finger of blame straight at you. It won't be an easy day, but try not to get swept up in the emotional dramas that are swirling around you. They'll only exhaust you.
