There is gold in those mountains there is no doubt about that! With the resent fire in Greeley I am sure the creeks are going to be full of pan handlers. Just remember all you "flat landers" leave the area as you found it, don't make the locals have to clean up your mess. Take your trash with you and dispose of it properly and enjoy the great sencery and the local historical towns. And while your there stop by the VFW (membership required or be signed in by a member)in Coulterville, it is right next to the Jeffery Hotel and the drinks are always cold and served with a smile. It is at the junction of Hwy 49 & Hwy 134 also these are great Hwy's to ride for you biker folk.

Come on...it looks like a big rock with some gold flakes on it. Not worth $5000 more like 5 dollars.

Your ID says you're from San Gabriel. I've been up to your neck of the hills panning for color (no luck). I've had even less luck with my metal detector. But I had fun all the while I was there. Enjoy your back yard.

Place of residents is correct, just have lot's of relatives living in that neck of the woods so I visit often. Maybe I will relocate there one day? Not much to offer as far as employment though.

THE ROCK IS WEIGHED. IT IS MOSTLY QUARTZITE. IT THEN IS DROPPED INTO WATER TO DETERMINE ITS VOLUMN. THE DIFFERENCE IN SPECIFIC GRAVITY IS THEN CALCULATED. THATS HOW YOU DETERMINE THE GOLD CONTENT YOU DUFFUS. IT IS NO WONDER 90% OF GOLD PROSPECTORS CANT SUPPORT THEMSELVES WITH WHAT THE DISCOVER. MOST OF THEM MUST BE IDIOTS LIKE YOU CARBUFF.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Gemini

You're normally pretty canny, but today you're wearing rose-tinted glasses that prevent you seeing what's really going on. There probably isn't much harm in this if your vision is only temporarily obscured, but you could be heading for financial problems if you persist in taking a very idealistic view of a current situation. Be realistic, especially if someone's health or welfare is involved.
