Child molester loses challenge

A former Grass Valley man who said he would not have been convicted of child molestation if his trial had been held in San Francisco rather than Yuba County has lost his legal challenge contending that the state Sexually Violent Predator law was misapplied to him.

It is time the people of this state took a long hard look at how sex offenders are managed. this recent case in the Bay Area is a travasety of justice and what punishmnet could this man be given that would fit the crime he comitted. Yet he will just go to prison and sponge off ther the taxpayers.
