PAY ATTENTION, it's a FINANCIAL issue for the Board. The Mayor wants the Board to approve 1.7 million dollars to participate in a feasability study and our partners are Blue Island, Cal Park, Robbins, Markham and Harvey. Hey Mayor aren't they supposed to address the chair? Oh yeah, those are Action Party people, so it's ok. If that Mayor had any hope of salvaging or even attenpting to unify that Board, it's out the window now. This guy dosen't know how to keep his emotions in check and now he's letting his party members run his Board Meeting. Good luck selling that JAWA program Mayor, maybe you can have your buddies try to deflect it on the Building Dept this time.
I'm told the Alsip Mayor said the JAWA won't change your Taxes. How do you build a water distribution system for free?

You need people at meetings who are good at "BITCHING" because they need to be a "BITCH", thats what they do. Most people listen before they speak, but others are good at being a "BITCH", because they want to say the first thing that sits on top of that "FATHEAD" that they were born with. I need to get to next Monday's Village Board Meeting to see who's "BITCHING" about what. Or maybe their crying about decisions that don't benefit them.

McGreal is such a creepy guy, why does his wife stay with him?

Is it possible he sits in the front of each village meeting with a video recorder for some devious perverted reason. He points it at anyone who goes to the microphone. Note to ladies: Do not go near him, or you will smell the perverted pig musk coming from his breath.

Shame on Daddonna and Kitching for sweeping this under the rug before being forced to act.

Mayor Kitching the village is not in good shape financially. 47.46 % of Alsip's pension liability funded instead of 100%? Get jawa on the ballot!

Taxpayers understand the math involved. If you bought a house you know your agreed price and the pay off amount are substantially different, not including taxes, repairs, and upgrades over 30 years.
Jawa costs will be much more with the $205.6 million start up costs multiplied times four over 40 years.

I was at the last 3 Village Board Meetings and "I" understand that that the majority of the Board does not want to change the form of government. I don't understand why Mayor Kitching wants a "Land Bank" to accept properties that could'nt be sold previously and now what is the village going to do with that land. The property at 118th and Pulaski should be sold and not made into a place to sit. Hey Mayor maybe you should sit there and try to think of what you can do to promote REVENUE not a sitting area that doesn't promote REVENUE. Maybe you can ponder why the Board is going to cut the Mayor's salary in half, because you are not "Arnie", you see "Arnie" knew how to produce REVENUE. I spoke to the Trustees and I support cutting wages and more. SEE YA!!!

1. The current jawa project  does NOT have a water source, agreement.
2. Whiting sells BP gas and has 4 BP gas lines.
3. Whiting purchases water from Hammond.
4. Now is NOT the time to be SELLING Bonds, the current agreement HAS a secrecy clause that should have been removed. Currently, municipalities, counties, states, European markets, and countries have fied bankruptcy, or on the brink.
5. JP Morgan Chase is and has been in trouble due to bond churning and issues, some individuals have gone to Jail, but the Borrower Still Has To PAY the $Money$ back to the bond company.
6, The study has been done, and the committee voted to pay for the study and move forward with selling the additional $200 million in bonds bringing the total to $205.6 (this amount does not include hook-ups for any of the 7 communities) and pay it off over 40 years.
7.$205.6 X 40 , hook-ups, fees, interest, cost over runs, and you are at a $BILLION$$DOLLARS! with no water rights.
8. The current plan has the potential to be a 40 cent per one thousand gallons of water savings.
9. Investment vs savings (NONE There).
10, In the end, each municipality must pay their portion back. This puts all 7 municipalities on the brink of bankruptcy simultaneously.
11. Bankrupt SSJAWA treasurer.
12. No water, no water agreement, with Whiting, Hammond, or the Great Lakes Water Commission. You can not sell what you do not have. SSJAWA has no water!

Go to the JAWA meetings listen, ask questions, and see for yourself......it is a road to no where for municipalities, taxpayers, and the public.
No Water but a Great Big Bill that has filled pockets.

Dalzell? Isn't that the same guy who's son Danial was arrested for taking bets & being a bookie at Marist High School a few years back? Didn't daddy have to go bail him out while he was the police chief? I guess that's what happens to divorced couples in this country when they don't have a solid family foundation.

I found it amuzing that Dalzell claims they didn't check into how much these villages pay these 'managers' even though he read off a long list of them 2 weeks prior. He also claims not to have interviewed anyone for the position. OF COURSE NOT, they are making back-room deals long ago and got this all figured out....wait until your taxes go up due to these 5 trustees adding additional levels of government into our little town. See what is happening to Oak Lawn? They advertised in the newspaper they are looking for an ASSSISTANT Village Administator now for an additional $40,000 cost to the residents. Let see now, that would put them up to about a quarter million they will be paying 3 people to do the job of one mayor! NOT cost effevtive!

So at last nights Village committe meeting Mr. Dalzell admitted that he was not seeking the village manager's job, well rumor has it that he is right he doesn't want it, however this is who does want it, Bryan McLawhorn, remember him? Maybe not but he is Chris Marzac' s husband, or in other words, back to the same old UP politics. My be Bryan should just concentrate on the school board, and how to spend more tax dollars there, just like his mother in law has done for the overkill new library building!

These are exactly the attacks on people we don't need. You are attacking a man who has put in countless hour over the years volunteering on village committee, park district sports and now as an UNPAID member of the school board.

The easy thing to do here would be attack back and ask what you have been done for the village, but that kind of crap needs to stop.

As far as the library, another UN-informed attack on somebody who has given decades of volunteering in this village. This town's state of the art library is just what Pulaski road needed. It will have the curb appeal to possibly generate retail development.

The rehabed library will certainly add a new level of appeal to Pulaski that it needs. However, if you had been at the meeting you would have known just who is being attacked. Taking away one of the trustees insurance benefits is about as low as you can go. The motives of the independant United party is obvious. The voters will remember this power grab...

So what exactly does that have to do with Bryan McLawhorn? He isn't taking insurance away from anyone. He isn't on the village board.

Dalzell: "I do not have the experience or education to be mayor or village manager"

Kitching (pointing to John Ryan): "the trustee who last sat in that seat, Dan Godfrey had a degree in public administration". I.e.: there was a guy on the board that had the prerequisites and you, Dalzell, lied about him and won your seat

Insurance:

Shapiro: "so the only person that taking away the insurance impacts is me then"

Dalzell: "that would be correct, all prior trustees would be grandfathered in"

(analysis: John Shapiro has served for 8 years and loses this benefit in a political move, yet other members of Dalzell and Quinn's Unity Party who served less time, including a member of the "Alsip Kennedy's" who served 2 years would not"

Dalzell:(tounge so far in cheek he could barely speak): "this is not political"
