God bless the people working for the Salvation Army. They do such great work for the community in need.

this new facility sounds great, i hope i can volunteer there when it is up and running. giving people a place to clean up, learn etc... is an amazing service. this is more than a salvation army (which yes they have gotten picky, but some of the crap that people bring is beyond words, it makes it impossible to keep a respectable looking place, also the outside storage units are not large enough for everything while waiting to be separated and displayed). im not a fan of salvation in general but this new bldg sounds wonderful!

1 A place like this needs to be located in an industrial area not next to a community filled with children where these homeless pose a risk to their safety. Shame on the Salvation Army, and Janice Hahn Councilwoman, 15th District and those that would dare put this next to our community without EVER hearing from the 200 residents located next door. I guess with enough money anything is possible. |
