I am so happy to hear that the man who killed Dr. Lozado has been caught. I've been blessed by just knowing him. My kids been with him since he had the small office on Grand Concourse. I have not been able to get him off my man since learning of his death. If I was half the man he was I would be alright. I'm gonna miss everything about him. Whenever he walked into the office he always said something nice to any child in his path and and kind hello to the parents. I'm not Spanish, I'm Afro-American and I met him in 01 when I came to nyc to join my family, he was their Doctor before I got here. Everybody is affected by this senseless murder not just one groupo of people. REST IN PEACE Doctor Leandro Lozada

Dr.Lozada was more than just a pediatrician to my girls (Stephanie 12, Jessica 7 and Hailey 3)He was our confidant, consultant and even peace maker between our family quarrels. Our pediatrician for 7 years. He made sure my girls had a real dad even though there maternal dads weren't around. We miss him dearly and we know that he is in heaven in peace and praising our Lord Jesus Christ. I know the Lord used him tremendously impacting thousands of lives and has given him his greatly earned treasures now in heaven. Even though he lost his life for buying a home in this life. I am sure the the Lord has him in his mansion right now.
He is greatly loved, remembered and missed

im so sad by the death of Dr lozada he was the best man i have ever met he loved kids so much and was always helpful he never said no he was always saying "nice guy' my son has been with him since 2 wks old my nieces have all been in his office we will miss him so much i thank God for giving me the chance to have known him and may God have him sitting right by him

No se como empesar a expresar mi gran dolor es inexplicable. El DR lozada no simplemente era el pediatra de mis hijas Christy 10 Emily 8 y Dilmary 1 sino que tambien era nuestro amigo nuestro confidente. A sus hijos solo les puedo decir que todo esta en manos de Dios yque si Dios lo mando a llamar es porque solo personas con un corazon como el de el son las que de verdad van a la gloria.Descanse en paz DR Lozada siempre lo recordaremos.

i stand behind my cousin all the way and i kno he's innocent. my cousin was the accomplice so there for he didnt kill him. im sorry that dr. lozada was killed but lets get the facts straight, mr. saunders was the one that pulled the trigger and killied the doctor, not my cousin.

DR.LOZADA HAD BEEN MY DOCTOR SINCE I WAS 8 YEARS OLD AND MY SISTER'S DOCTOR SINCE THE DAY SHE WAS BORN. THE MAN WAS AN AMAZING MAN ONE OF GREAT SPIRIT AND GREAT ATTITUDE. HE WAS NOT ONLY A DOCTOR TO ME, BUT HE WAS ALSO ONE OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS THAT I WILL ALWAYS THANK FOR PUTTING ME IN THE RIGHT TRACK. AS OF NOW I AM 19 YEARS OLD AND BECAUSE OF HIM OPENING MY EYES TO A LOT OF THINGS THAT MY PARENTS WERE NOT GETTING THROUGH AT THAT TIME I CAN SAY I AM ONE OF THOSE GIRLS THAT ACTUALLY HAS HER MIND SET STRAIGHT AND A VERY VERY BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD OF HER. DR LOZADA........IS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY 39 YRS OF LIFE. THIS IS A MAN THAT I TRULY BELIEVE WAS TOUCHED BY GOD. I HAVE THE MEANS TO HAVE TAKEN MY CHILDREN TO ANY OF THE DOCTORS IN MY AREA OF WESTCHESTER COUNTY, HOWEVER, I CHOSE DR LOZADA. WHEN HE MOVED I FOLLOWED. I FOLLOWED BECAUSE NOT ONLY DID HE KNOW MY 3 CHILDREN BY NAME, HE REMEMBERED THE PREVIOUS VISITS AND GAVE ME MEDICAL INFORMATION FOR THE VISIT AND FOR MY PERSONAL DAILY LIFE. I HAVE SEEN PARENTS COME IN WITH THEIR BABIES AND DIDNT HAVE AN INSURANCE PLAN, OR THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THE MEDICINE, AND DR LOZADA MADE SURE THEY HAD HIS ATTENTION AND SERVICE AND THEN GAVE THE MEDICINE TO THE PATIENTS. WHAT DOCTOR TODAY WOULD GIVE OF HIMSELF IN SUCH A WAY TODAY? NONE THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED OR THINK OF. WHY? I COULD ONLY ANSWER THAT GOD FELT THAT HE NEEDED A SPECIAL ANGEL TO COME HOME AND LEANDRO IS THAT ANGEL. WHAT A GREAT LOSS FOR US PARENTS AND ESPECIALLY OUR CHILDREN AND NOT TO MENTION A COMMUNITY. Senseless and horrific that such a fine human being as Dr Leandro Lozada should be taken so cruelly. I mourn his passing profoundly, so vital a person be taken. Long conversations about how he loved his kids at his clinic and how lucky he was to give back. I hope the person or persons who took his life will suffer a long and agonizing life, God will see to this and may his give solace and comfort to his ex wife and his adored daughter and son and dear mother and brothers and sisters.

Dr.Lozada was my doctor since i was 4...
im now 13.....
that tuesday...the day before he died....
my sister and i went to go see him nd for some reason he told me to follow my heart and that not to fall for many boys and stuff...he was talking to me as if he was my father and as if he was saying his goodbyes...
and my sister is 17 and she was with him when she was 8....
ii luved that man so much and i am happy that hes resting in peace...

I cant beleave he's gone its bin a really long time but so hard to accept Im only 16 right now..but he was my docter growing up I remember when the clinic was located on the gran concourse and walking in seeing all the photos of children on the wall. I always loved getting a lollypop after my visit. He was someone that could always make you smile. Not only was he my pediatrician he was a docter who was present in 1998 at my little sister's delivery..may you rest in peace and you're heavily missed =/ thank you for all that you did our family will always have you in our hearts

No one deserves to die, Dr.lozada seemed like a innocent man and I am sure he was.....
The way he died no body should die, it was a horriable deaf..... and I am sorry to all the people who lost a father, a husband, and doctor...... I am not defending the wrong....
Just as they say that Mr.saunders did it the accomplice is a guilty as much as my Farther. I am truley sorry to every one....
