I know where the fence is. It's on Mexico's southern border. I heard on the Michael Savage show on Friday that the U.S. gave Mexico 1.2 billion dollars to build a fence on their southern border to keep illegals from coming into Mexico from Central America. The irony is dumbfounding.

I am by no means a fan of illegal immigration. I think that every illegal who is caught should be returned to Mexico with a pallet of bricks and a wheelbarrow full of mortar to build "their" section of the wall as they leave. HOWEVER, the problem is OURS not THEIRS. It's simple economics. Supply and demand. We need to start taking care of our children (no more nannies). We need to start taking care of our homes (no more maids). We need to start taking care of our backyards (no more landscapers). We need to start going to Home Depot to buy the items they sell instead of looking for an eight dollar an hour work crew. It's bad enough when your country is going down the toilet and you stand by and do nothing, but to actually help it along is dispicable.

I agree Paul....no nannies, landscapers or maids here! Just me pulling all 10 acres of weeds and raising my kids and cleaning my house.

I have no problem with anyone who wants to come to this country....legally through our borders just as they would require of us to do so comming to their country. Can you imagine what would happen to a US citizen if we acted in this manner in another country???

Alpiner,
Look at the way Americans get treated when they just try to go and vacation south of the border. They get shaken-down by the Federales, robbed and raped by banditos, caught in the crossfire by drug/people smugglers. It's hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys when both groups are behaving in the same manner.
