Something has gone horribly wrong. Is it an EGO thing that pushes these guys over the edge? Guess women and children have to go into a witness protection program in order to get away from their Ex's.
It's deplorable if this is another instance of "if I can't have you no one else can have you". Talk about Neanderthals!

I truly feel for the daughter who no longer has a mother (nor a dad for that matter)! There seems to be more and more families killing each other what is this world coming to?

to those of you who are wondering, this is exactly why there are "how-to" suicide websites. NEVER shoot yourself in the stomach of all places! the pain is probably as bad as it gets, and it often fails to get the job done.
those sites are meant to minimize pain and the embarrassment of failing at suicide.

I'm not going to make an excuse for what happened. Sometimes, good people do bad things. Sometimes relationships don't work out. All I know is that I used to work with Frank, and he was a really nice guy. He was even tempered, and always great to be around. If he did this terrible deed, may God have mercy on him. In the mean time, I'm keeping his family in my prayers.

My husband and I were friends of the Bass'. Frank worked with my husband. From what we hear from Frank Jr., Frank is in a rehab hospital. He has had multiple surgeries and several amputations (fingers, limbs, etc) due to blood infection. I've contacted the U-T for a follow-up story but have had no response.

Isn't anyone curious about what happened to the murderer? There have been no follow-up stories in the newspaper or TV.

Yes, curious that this is old news, especially since Frank Sr. is still in the hospital and has not been formally charged.
I spoke with both Frank and Ginger often just before this happened. Frank was depressed and unpredictable, and Ginger was fearful. I am angry with Frank for what happened, but he is still my friend.

Dear daughter,
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Ginger. And miss her. She was a good friend, wonderful mother and a woman I admired. As I said previously, I have been trying to find out more about Frank, via newspapers, TV, etc. Only our local "Reader" magazine has responded. If anything comes of speaking with the magazine, I'll post a blurb here. Take care and know you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Erica, I know how painful this whole mess must be for you as it is for those of us related by blood. Especially since you've now essentially lost both Ginger and Frank. Ginger is in a better place though, and I know for certain she is with loved ones that have gone on. She wishes for us to move on. She wants everyone to know she loves them and can't wait to see them again.
As for Frank. There are a lot of "nice" guys in the public eye, who are evil in private. He is in God's hands at this point. Let us all try to help those we know who might be in a domestic violence situation. Just because someone seems nice in public, don't defend them if a credible person says they are violent. This is what happens. As someone who has lived to tell, please help the victims. Know that they may not always have the strength to leave for fear of this very thing. And remember, Restraining orders are only a piece of paper, good to have on record but they won't stop a violent person from crossing the line. God bless you Erica and Carolina.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Libra

You know what they say about this being the season of goodwill to all men? Well, you get the chance to put it into action today by being understanding, tolerant and compassionate towards the people you meet. This doesn't mean you should condone anything awful that they do, but simply that you need to look beyond that to the larger picture.
