All the products that honda makes are very good in quality and long-lasting. Honda is doing wat is best in their interest. Don't forget tha fact that they are building a new car vehicle plant in indiana. Honda motorcycles are really good. However, they cannot compete with American Badass Made Harley's, Victory's, Can-Am, Indians, and customized choppers and etc. The honda RUNE looks bad although. The motorcyle is an american tradition and the american motorcylyist tend to keep it that way. honda can't keep up with the demand for chopper style bikes so they probably are leaving and making bikes in japan for other countries that need it more.

You win some, and you lose some.

The WTO has made it a disadvantage to manufacture in America. Our government gives tax breaks to any company who will leave America and manufacture in China. The Japanese are now sending some of their work to China to take advantage of the slave wages.I hate to see it because Japan always had Quality products in the past.I hope they don't send the Suzuki Burgman manufacturing to China - they were a good scooter.

At this point in time, with the economy, outsourcing, and job loss, which by the way is not suppose to happen with this, supposedly; I don't see this as being in their best interest. I generally, (at least before this economy, ) buy a new bike every few years, it will not be a Honda the next time and only because it is not made here.

You do realize that Honda is a Japanese company, don't you? By making motorcycles here, they were outsourcing to the US - they're just doing exactly what we keep saying US companies should do - bring the product home.
