Dining out: T.W. Martin's Public House

“After I got back I said it was perfect for an Irish pub”

What is it: The kind of cozy, familiar hangout Americans who visit Ireland pine for when they get home, which is how T.W. Martin's Public House came to be. via WisInfo

The review has it right. Best atmosphere in town, and the food is on par with big-city 3-star restaurants. You'll have to pay for the maitre d in the tux for better food. A lot of people are loyal to their old favorites, but T-Dubs is the only restaurant in the area that distinguishes itself from the crowd.

The food and staff are great! No hoity-toity manners just real people. I love their Shepherds Pie.

How do you call this a good place? It was horrible. The chef was horrible and we met one of the owners Paul, and he was very rude. He acted like he was some sort of GOD! Never will we go here again. Pricey and poor.
