Bus driver arrested for driving drunk

An Allegany County school bus driver was arrested for driving drunk. State Police say Martha Thompson drives for the Alfred-Almond School District .

This is one woman that deserves the " Boy am I stupid Award". What a nut case,to not only have an obvious problem with alcohol, but to jepordize the children, whom we as parents TRUST the school districts to SAFELY transport our children to and from school? What in the hell is wrong with these persons and how did they get the job? ANd as far as the districts, they apparently are not utilizing testing for drugs and/or alcohol abuse like they should and are entitled to doing!!

Its crazy. Next she will get hired in a nursing home with no background check and take care of elderly. It happens every day.

Almond and Alfred...2 communities that have nothing but farms, 2 colleges and BARS...Oh and 1 Traffic Light! Talk about "Red Neck" country. When I took my kid to Alfred State College that first year, I couldn't believe it!
