The Murray police suck!! I have called them numerous times for harrassment from a psychotic neighbor and for assistance during child exchange because my ex husband gets out of control . Not one time they helped me.... they just told me to call back .... call back.....
They don't even take the time to even listen to me. The murray police just don't do their duties right!

The murray police dept does suck. They are the harrassers if they dont like you for some reason and can't find a legitimate to get you.

I want to add that the police speed over nothing and kill innocent citizens. just think.. we pay them to. What a waste of money!

If you do not like the way the police department is working why don't you try to fix it. Go and apply to be a police officer and make the changes you think is necessary or are you the type that will just complain about something but never do something to fix the problem. Or maybe you have no complaint at all.

The MPD works really hard to make sure that this community does not end up with wanna be thugs like Mayfield or a bunch of snotty racists like Benton. And for a meager wage might I add. Murray State cops make more and have 1/8th the risk. If you are having trouble with you ex-husband get a lawyer. If you have a crazy neighbor go up to the police department with specific dates and times and file a complaint. As someone who had gotten tickets from the MPD I still say they are doing an excellent job. If you don't think so, pack up and move to an area where the law inforcement is truly shitty and then we will talk.
