Does anyone know about Dr. Shah??? Did he get shut down?

he did and the town of mayfield is safe. this man has been responsible for uncountless deaths.
he prescribed pills to ppl who werent ill, tries to put WELL ppl on INSULIN shots and hands out narcotics like there is no tomorrow.
thank goodness he got shut down.

Yes, I have heard that. I know an elderly person who went to him and this person was on sooo many medications...it was sad!!!! Come to find out they didn't even need half of the medicine!!!

I don't know the whole story is or what not but as a patient of his and one that has many medical problems (that specialist) not just Dr. shah told me I had i am very said..He was the only dr willing to go above and beyond what needed to be done he came in on weekend and nights to see me when i was ill. No one is perfect i feel he did what he truly thought was the best for his patients, and i love how the only two people on here talking about him are not even from the town he was in. My heart and my prayers go out to him and his family in these hard times

Good Doctor been helping people for over 20 years. I think there are many other doctors that they should be investingating. But, they choose to harass Dr. Shah. I think he is a very caring man who has given his life to helping people. They negative comments above are just na sayers wanting to blame someone for their bad day. Wonder how many people they have helped in their existence here.

above and beyond what? and you dont have to live in this town to know he was a quack , thats what they get for letting these border jumpers come ova here n e way mayfield ain't nothing but a bunch a folks stuck in a mexican community half these people don't even speak english , go home

Dr. Shah was the only doctor willing to give me meds to lose weight even though I had high blood pressure. Today I weight 50lbs less and the blood pressure problem is gone, but now I crave those Meds!

yah an he tried to give me fastin too, and i have a heart arythmia and it could of killed me and you were lucky it didnt kill you. dr shah was and is a dangerous doctor.he has NO buissness practicing medicine.

dr shah was a carp dr but he wasnt a border jumper he is a legal citizen,however he was a crappy dr. and really you shouldnt be so racist 95% of the mexicans i know are decent clean ppl the trashiest person i know is white.

Well, I did live in that town...and some of my family still does!!!!! And Im not trying to bash him...Im just stateing facts!!!! He was a very nice man but he did give out way to many meds!!!!!

Actually, I wasn't having a bad day...and not blameing anyone!!!! And not having a bad day today either!!!!!:) Yes, he does like to help people in one sense but in another he gives out to many medications!

yup yup he is a dangerous man, but so is dr irving(pale white dumb dr)
he is still in practice at morgan haugh that dude is a smart ass as well as a quack.
someone told me dr shah went through this a few yrs ago an got his license back. i hope they dont make the same mistake twice.
i know of 3 ppl right off the top of my head that their famlies souly blame him for their family members death.

If you see this, know that I'm praying for your family and you. You know you have done no wrong. Stand strong like you alwalys are because you will get through this and somehow be stronger for it. Your patients have been left untreated by the hospitals and physicianz - I though doctors took an oath to care for patients. P.S. People of on this his message board doesn't know that you get to work at 7:30 and may not leave until the last patient is seen and work on Sat. And how you make your rounds at the hospital before going to the office. I have a friend of mine whose daughter is a nurse and after this happened you call the hospital to see how your elderly patient was and she said she could hear in your voice a great concern for this patient. You are a man of integity and this will come to pass. God bless you, Dr. Shah.

I don't know the doctor myself as a patient but I have heard good things he has done for some of his patients.As well some immoral practices this doctor did. They must of had enough complaints/evidence to remove this doctor.I'm sorry but your a racist pig.You think your special because you had been born white? No,your not special.Maybe your just (short bus special)(if you know what I mean) but thats it.You ARE NOT any better then the next person,regardless of what color you are. Well I am one of Dr. Shaw's patients. I believe he is an excellent doctor. He diagnosed my sister with graves disease and diabetes when no one else could figure out what was wrong with her. He saved her life. He goes out of his way to help me with the bill when I need to see him and have no money to pay. Dr Shaw will be reopening, and I will be glad to see him as will they rest of his patients I have spoken with.

he just pissed off the wrong doc at jackson purchase med center....weather or not he's a good dr depends on who you ask.... they're are plenty of other quack docs in western Ky, they just know who to stay in good standing with. I've worked in surgery for about 7yrs its all just politics and rubbing elbows

HOW SURE ARE YOU OF THE REASON BEHIND ALL THIS WHEN YOU WORK IN A CONFINED AND ALMOST ISOLATED AREA SUCH AS THE SURGERY DEPARTMENT?
