Ronnie Lear needs to be investigated.

Ronnie has been mentioned a few times during Jessica Currins murder. I think if things had been looked into this trial would have happened sooner. I think he should be investigated and charged. I believe he had a friend of mine look like he committed suicide . Now hes a preacher in Benton.

i have known the man most of my life.
and some of the things hes done......
i know he is also in with woodsmen of the world- some christian insurance company.
he was fired a few yrs ago from the county for stealing from the evidenve. i believe in forgining but i just dont trust this man and i will always believe he is a skunk.

Well my friend name was Richard and he died back in the late 80s. My husb and I seen him hrs before this suicide suppose to have happened. He waved and smiled at us. So that dont seem like someone who would committ suicide. And his sister said the gun was in the wrong hand hmm. Supposely his girlfriend found a letter and bottle of pills in the truck he was driving. And also the same place where his bro did when he committed suicide yrs before that.

mayfield is a scary place im so glad i dont live in it anymore.if someone gave me a house in mayfield id sell it.
geez i didnt know he really killed someonebut im not suprised.
i know i have heard from alot of people that know alot of things that he is responsible for a death.

Well I think he had someone to do it for him. He works like that. I know he has a cuz that does things like that.

I remember a time when he was trying to build himself up and get brownie points he would catch the first person he could near where something had happened and threaten whomever was smaller than himself just so he could say he solved a crime or possible crime. He would say things like "if you don't admit that you did this I will make you wish you had". He would scare young kids half to death and they would admit to things they had nothing to do with.

I tried to tell the county attorney which at the time was Gayle Robbins that I had proof he did something. He called Lear and ask him if he did it and he said no.And that was the end of that.Like hes going to say yes. Heres your sign how stupid is that.Thats how they work.

If you have real proof that he did something, then you should turn him in. If the county attorney will not listen, call the state prosecutor and then file a complaint on both. If they still won't listen, contact your local FBI office and make them aware.

It happen around 1992. It would be my word against his. It was something that suppose to have been confidental about a person and he told the person about it. Its a long story.But that person made me scared for my life.A friend of me and husb supposely committed suicide but he just waved and smiled at us before he did it. Ronnies cousin supposely was tryin to go with my friends girlfriend.And I guess they got rid of him.But I dont know I could prove that. It happen so long ago.

I for one have always thought that Lear was given way too much credit. I see him as a conceited idiot who has built his self worth on those he can intimidate.

Not me dearies. I've called him out to his face & in fact have left him speechless a few times.

I think he's a coward & a man who was paid a salary for much too long while on the MPD for doing nothing but grabbing a snitch to convict. That's not what a "real detective" would do.

He's a coward & certainly needs to be investigated but not for what happened to Jessica Currin. He needs to be investigated for what didn't happen after she was brutally murdered. No investigation at all!!!

I promise you, he & many others will be exposed!

I would be so happy if that happen. After all these yrs. I wish I could prove What happen to my friend Richard. Prove that he didnt committ suicide.No telling what hes done we dont know about.

What church is pastor at, I want to be sure I never attend there when in the area. I don't know him personally but know someone that was very close to Jessica & they knew he was involved in her death & coverup also. Too bad he's allowed to hide behind the badge, just like Shah hid behind the medical licence, when it's apparent so many people knew how evil he is. If the regular common people know all this you know for sure other cops, judges, etc. know all this & more. I know this goes on in alot of cities, but the folks of Mayfield don't have much hope of fair & safe treatment, in otherwords, they have no where to turn. No wonder no one has officially spoken up, fear is a terrible way to have to live.
