who would make up the best all star football team Alma has ever had? I think they started as the Bees in the 50's

The team would have to include the late Osric Robinson who graduated in 2006. He was one of the greatest wide receivers BC ever had. He played both ways and on special teams. Hardly ever came off the field. He went on to play college football as well. For those who don't know he was killed in a car accident coming home from college for Christmas break. Oz was a great guy and friend. We grew up together and he is missed by all those who knew him.

What about Van Jones in the mid to late 80's? He played like a man among boys!

Bacon County has only had two really good football teams in the history of football. Tony Rigdons team of 87(loss only one regular season game) and Arnold Gutierrez team of 62(lost only one game and tied two) any one on these team would be on the all star team.

Nicky Sermons was great QB and very tough. Chase Lee, best athlete Bacon ever had!

Chase Lee is probably Alma's biggest travesty as well, sadly.

Regardless, Chase was the best athlete I ever saw. Could have played in NFL or MLB. He would have fit right in either with his ghetto image.

I think the guys name was Otis Robinson Jr. He could play football, strong as an ox. I wonder if he's still around? Or maybe it was somebody else I'm thinkin about, it's been a long time, over 20 years I guess.
