It is not the Democrats in Washington who exported those jobs, and if the voters have now been sufficiently manipulated to vote in a Republican Congress now and a Republican president in 2012, the Republicans are proposing policies that will make the export of jobs worse while at the same time, reducing protections for the average citizen.

Mae Beavers is consistent NO Her problem is she has no ideas or solutions to correct any issues. State Government was shut down in July 2002 Did she have a plan? No. Bridges need fix. Did she vote for the budget which included the bond issue? No

Would not vote for that woman EVER! She has done nothing for the people in her District and spews out one lie after another. She didn't want to run again in the 1st place and because of her dislike for the women who was running in her place she decided to throw her hat back into the race. She pulled every dirty trick in the book. She is not what we need if we want things to get better. I am not saying MacDonald is going to be our Superman but at least he isn't Beavers.

Hey Trish, I think you may be confused or maybe it is me. Your post reads that you believe we "need a change" yet you cast your vote for Beavers, do you see my confusion? Beavers has been in office for years doing nothing but coming out when her term is up for photo opportunities. Voting her in would not bring change, it would bring more of the same. So if you voted for Beavers you want things to continues as they have been and that is a sad state of affairs. I am neither a Democrat or Republican, I am a human being who is tired of what our elected officials are doing to this country and to the American people, I agree with you we need change and that is from the entire bunch, Democrats & Republicans alike. I hope you don't make the same mistake Nov 2 by voting for change and hitting the Beavers button!

Have to check the others out but, it will sure be hard to cast a vote for Mae Beavers. She DOES NOT know about business, TPEC, and is one of the most rudest individuals you will meet, if there are no cameras.

Senate Beavers locked in my vote after watching the debate hosted by the Lebanon Democrat.(You can watch it online). Mr. McDonald gave "smooth and politically correct answers" when asked about employing illegal workers. We all know they can buy 'legal' documentation. So telling us that all your workers have documentation is not the same as telling the truth. Just answer the question honestly rather than finding an answer that fits. I was also impressed by Senator Beavers experience and knowledge of the issues at hand. Mr McDonald pointed out several times that Beavers couldn't get along with others. I am not sending someone to Nashville to test their social graces. Speaking your mind usually doesn't afford you many friends. Telling people what they want to hear may be why Mr. McDonald is so popular. Senator Beavers has my support. Watch the debate for yourself and see who gave real answers and who tried to play on your emotions.

Mae Beavers talks a good game, but fails to represent the interests of her area. She promises, promises, promises, and then never delivers. I'm Republican but voting for McDonald in this one.

George is just like us. Except we don't own 1,000 acres. And we didn't get a million bucks from the Federal government in farm subsidies.

A vote for George is a vote for Bob Rochelle too.

We sent his fat tax-loving ass home. Keep him there.

...and you blame the guy for being a successful farmer? Subsides are there for a reason, to not take advantage of them would be ignorant to say the least. Show me a farmer that has not taken advantage of these gov't programs and you will find one living off of your choice of any other federal programs funded by the taxpayer. At least he is working honestly and contributing to the GDP rather than sitting around waiting for his next gov't check in the mail. Mae is a joke when it comes to representing her district. I hope she can enter retirement next month...oh wait, that is another gov't subsidized program too. oh well....
