Ex-MSU, Clarksdale High star buried Saturday

Former MSU and Clarksdale High star Darren Williams will be buried Saturday afternoon in Clarksdale.

Darren"Dapoo"William s was like a brother to me during his time at MSU. I met him in the summer of 2003 and took to him right away. He always had a pleasant smile on his face and something funny to say and that's what made him the person he was. I will always remember going to his apartment for cookouts with him and some teammates and him nagging me to make the baked beans, but I didn't mind; that was my boy Dapoo. I will always keep him close to my heart. I will miss you and love you forever. And to Mrs.Williams- "Keep your hand in God's hand."

Darren"Dapoo" We miss Dapoo very much. I can remember the times Dapoo would play with his baseball and football right in front of our house. We will always remember those happy moments!!! I really remember his smile. I would tell Dapoo,Dapoo don't break my windows out of my car please!!(smile). Dapoo would reply ok Mrs. Clark. Mrs. Clark one day I'm going pro. so, If I broke out your windows now, I'll replaces them later!! I replyed ,boy!!! Later on he became that pro star. Brenda we will always love u and your family.
