South Whitehall to Lose $60,000 To Arena Project

News that South Whitehall will lose about $60,000 a year in earned income tax money to Allentown's controversialA Neighborhood Improvement Zone A has not quieted the township's opposition to the state law creating the zone.

Forget about the tax. What about the complete destruction of the commercial real estate market. The primo deals that could be available in Allentown are borne on the backs of the tax payers. Also if there were single payer insurance in this country you would not see any sports medicine palace in Allentown. Are these hospitals profit or non profit. Another sham that needs to be investigated. Another burden on the tax payer.
