Harold Fulmer is one sharp businessman. Didn't drop a dime into that place since buying it, but raked in the money by the night and by the beer for years and then found a sucker to unload his real estate and the bar business for $4 million and left dirtbag Joe Clark holding the bag. You gotta love Allentown business, politics and law. No wonder no one wants to do business in Allentown. If you come here, everyone tries to run your business who isn't an equity holder.

There is absolutely nothing business friendly about Allentown under Pawlowski. How long until Traylor becomes another low rent subsidized housing project that Pawlowski loves so much.

500 police responses in the past 2 years?

Only now did the city finally go after this? Fulmer clearly had political connections that Clark didn't. BTW I don't support Clark or his operations in any way but the city should've shut it down while Fulmer still owned it. They had the evidence.

Allentown government is pathetic in how reactively it responds to the issues dragging the city under. Bethlehem would never have let either this or the Americus get to the point that they have. Bethlehem in PROACTIVE.

C'mon Allentown get it together before even more residents who care give up and move out. I went to high school in Allentown in the late '80s and returned to the area after getting a bachelors and two master's degrees. I looked at houses just about everywhere. Allentown had some neat historical properties but the cruddy element in Allentown and its incompetent government scared me off from ever investing there.

How can Clark claim to not know this was going to happen? I read about it numerous times in this very newspaper. If he's such a prominent local businessman, you would think he would have the common sense to research his acquisitions.

LOL very funny but where have you been for the last 10 years, the Hotel Traylor has been a slum house for a long time, thats where all the crime is comming from. The crud comes out of there rooms at night and start mugging people and on there way back they rob the store in back of the hotel and they run back upstairs and beat there girlfriends and there homeboys for getting shortchanged on there take from all the crimes they commit. I dont think that there is as much crime in harys as there is upstairs. Allentown should implode that whole building but if they did all the cock roches would spread out all over the outskerts of Allentown.

Good ! I applaude this judges decision ! Its about time someone made the right move. Of course Joe Clark is crying now that the judge ignored the progress he has made .There was no progress ! Only difference now is that a criminal owns the bar instead of just criminals in the bar.It seems Joe has a habit of picking up properties that are badly deteriorating from Harold Fullmer after he sells them .Crocodile Rock Cafe was Eastern Light owned by who? Harold Fullmer of course. Then Joe throws a nice facade on the dump and says look how nice I made it look. Now of course Joe Clark wants to sell the Hotel Traylor again because Harry's bar is padlocked. Without the use of the bar and liquor license that makes the re-sale value considerably less. So Joe just took a loss on the purchase of the Hotel Traylor . I can't say I and many other on here didn't see it coming. Now for Steve Kahlon and those others who have legal disputes with Joe to sue him.IF and I stress IF the residents of Allentown truely care about their city they will make it known that they are fed up with slum lords & criminals like Mr. Clark, his family and all his corrupt friends in Lehigh County and see to it these individuals are prosecuted to the fullest and not shown favoritism like they have been getting. All the crap is hitting the fan now ! Now watch as the corrupt individuals try to make themself look good by going after Joe and his criminal family ,too bad for them the history of their corruption and doing Joe favors is all there and ready to be used as evidence to prosecute these corrupt individuals.Thats a nice way to get them all PA AG's office.Divide and conquer .

IT's the right thing to do, this will tell everyone that Allentown won't tolerate that kind of crap any more. We want our peaceful civil city back. It starts with self respect and respect for others.

Do you really think that Joe Clark had no knowledge of what was going on here? The Traylor renovation is a huge one - but I can't imagine anyone buying it NOT doing their due dilligence. How long can the revolving door mayors of Allentown claim ignorance and not enforce health codes and criminal violations at the marquee properties in the city? This ain't going to be solved anytime soon. Sit tight.

Been here, done that. Guess no remembers Shorty's Cafe. Got closed down by vote hungry politicians who got their butts kicked in the courts.

Pawlowski is running for re-election. He doesn't care a whit for anyone who isn't in his pocket.(Or filling it). So here's Hary's just like Shorty's.

Hary's was a crummy place because
Fulmer transformed the Traylor in HUD Section 8 VoucherLand. The Democratic Councils and Mayors let him.

Hey Laremce,
So does anyone know if it's true that Judge Brenners son died of an over dose of illegal drugs?
Or that he's been caught with prostitutes?
I know my case but was just wondering how much more dirt there was or is in the Lehigh County Court system?
I think we take all the sh1t heads walking the streets of Allentown and nearby communities and stick them in "ALL" the peoples houses that have any work to do what so ever with the court house or the jail.

I bet Clark already had a plan to flip this property to someone else for a profit. The bar closing is a non-event and he's probably just using it to get public sympathy.

Once again elected officials move on property without giving the owner a chance to remidy things. The city is becoming a collection of fire hazards instead of a bustling area. Abandoned property only promotes more crime and that is the last thing Allentown needs.
