Great, something for people who don't like Musikfest to whine about. How did they get the beer? I am sure they didn't purchase it on their own. Leave the beer consumption to the big boys and girls who know how to handle it. Well, most know how to handle it!

That's why they need to have a beer tent that you stay in to drink. Ther is no reason to walk around musikmess and drink. You go in the tent drink a few and then go on your merry way. Also you card people who are comming in to the tent, there are a few festivals that do this and they have no problem with under age drinking.

Make 'em down a six pack of warm beer the next morning.

That sure cure them until they are of legal age.

Two drunk girls at Musikfest is barely news. Who cares? I doubt they bought from the tents themselves. I blame the Russians!

I blame musicfest for this. Everyone is allowed to walk the streets with beer and how do they know who is drinking this. Any other time if the year if you walk the streets of bethlehem with a beer you would be arrested. As a parent you would think your child would not be able to purchase beer at musicfest or that they would be stopped before even drinking all of it. I thought this was patrolled by the police. Shouldn't they be randomly carding pepole that look to young to be driking

How do you know they purchased beer at Musikfest?? How do you know they even drank beer?! And I guess the police are to check every drink/container of every single teen walking around Musikfest!! Come on, you never drank as a teenager?? If so, who/how were you able to get alcohol?? Be realistic.

They do swipe IDs of people upon entering the beer tents at Musikfest. Chances are these kids' beer didn't come from 'fest.

Um, they DO card you as you walk into the tents...I am sure these girls did not buy the beer on their own. Come on!
I disagree with making you stay in a tent to drink. How are you supposed to check out all the musicians if you do that?

Probably because they didn't buy the booze themselves. Come on, wake up!

Musikfest should be about the music.
I'd like to see a smoke free and beer free fest in the NEAR future.
