It's about time we stopped treating pot like it's the worst thing anyone can posess or use. We are literally bankrupting ourselves trying to eradicate a "drug" that is less dangerous than alcohol. How did we get to this point where we don't see how illogical this is?

Who was he hurting by having this on him? What benefit to society has been gained by arresting him?

i never really understand why someone who worked so hard to be a pro, and gets paid a VERY large sum of money would put themselves in a position to have it all taken away.

Similarly Joe Pa "puts up" (endures?)with crap juvenile behavior by entitled and coddled collegiate football athletes who have sports talent but not a lick of logic in any other areas.

Look at Michael Vick... a product of the system without a lick of common sense.

Without marijuana, there would be no fast food restaurants. No one can eat that crap without getting stoned first. Legalize pot, save the minimum wage jobs.

Seriously? Taken to jail for a small amount of pot? Seriously?
How bout we focus on bigger crimes like bank robberies and murders... seriously, over a small amount?
Sure, take the dope and fine him - but take him to jail?

guess we wouldnt know unless we were there.. still this should be a minor traffic violation and that is it.. these soft drugs should be treated just like its counter part, alchohol.

What a bunch of baloney.

He was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation... why would the police even have searched him? Maybe if he had been the driver, but even that would be a stretch for a mere traffic violation. Sounds like profiling to me.

if i was him i would get a lawyer for being profiled. why would he go to prison over night for a little pot? COPS SUCK AZZ. i know several cops that smoke pot and other political officials. this is a harmless drug. theyy allow cigs and liquor to be legal and they are much worse, if pot was so bad then WHY are the pharma companies making a THC pill now for medical reasons?

Seriously, how can you say that pot is less dangerous than alcohol...what's the difference if you are high and kill someone either in a car crash or with a gun or drunk and do the same.....nothing...they are both dangerous. Face it, pot is ILLEGAL,therefore he should not have had it and maybe some of his millions should be taken and given to the treatment centers for Narcotics and alcohol. do something good with the millions instead of spending it on strippers, drugs, booze and cars.

I didn't know there was a murder or a bank was robbed last night in Lower Saucon Township. If that's the case, they should have been investigating those.

Also the police officer was just doing his job. The last time I checked Marijuana was illegal. If you have a problem with that contact the politicians that make the law.
