OK, now I suppose weh'll see their families on TV with the school photos, saying how these are both really nice boys, they were just playing around, and if they weren't playing around what they did was all the fault of society, and blah, blah. Seriously, I'm glad they were charged as adults - put 'em in the lockup and see how "big and bad" they are with the long-term crooks.

"Not that serious?" Ok, so they took a gun, put it to someones' head, threatened to blow his head off, stole his phone...I don't know, that sounds fairly serious to me. Even if it WAS an air gun (and they still don't know at this point), the fact that these guys were willing to do something like that is VERY serious. I mean, this is a crime, plain and simple, and, yes, I would say the same if it was, as you mentioned, a cop's son, or even my own son! If we don't take this crime seriously, at what point DO we say, yes, this is a major crime? When these guys go on to kill someone? It horrifying, at such a young age that these 2 seem to have little respect for what's right and wrong, no respect for other people and the property of other people, and they're certainly old enough to know better; I believe they need to be given the maximum punishment possible. Sorry, but I don't believe that anyone who's really "good guys" will go out and do something like this.

I feels as tho that the crime isn't that seious i agree with Tyrone Curry.........Because you know how much more worse things happen around here and no one seems to care about it. I understand that Jarrett did a bad thing and should be punish but also they should look at his grades and his been ranked first in is weight division in wrestling never been n trouble before. Jarrett is my lil brother best friend and jarrett is a good kid and i am not just saying i because i know him i am saying t beacause it's the truth everyone makes mistake and i know this is a really big mistake for someone to make but no ones perfect.

Seems like you and Tyrone are both idiots. The victim, Michael, is my nephew, and he was traumatized by the incident. I guess you feel victims of crimes like this are supposed to take the time and decide if it is real gun or not, right? What do you think is serious??? Should they have gotten away with this, and then graduate to killing someone next time. If someone pulled a gun on your "lil brother" would YOU then consider THAT to be serious, or would that be no big deal either?? You and Tyrone are both scum, like the Jarrett and his buddy...

So, you and your buddy are on the same page?
This "so called crime is not even that serious"??

Maybe to you TYRONE, but I assure you, it is VERY serious to about 15,000 Syrian and Lebanese Christians, living in the Lehigh Valley, when morons like your friends hurt one of our children.

We take it VERY seriously. And, we also teach our children to respect others and the property of others, to be God-fearing, and to stay out of trouble, and build secure futures for themselves and their families.

Obviously, you are your buddy Itzaira, teach your family members the exact opposite, and we all know we they are heading someday: To the Can. Your boys from the hood, are very lucky they committed this crime in this country, and not in Syria or Lebanon, as over there, the families of victims are the ones who knock on the doors of idiots who hurt their family members, and I assure you, it is not a pretty site either. We live in this country, and respect the laws of this, our adopted country, which we dearly love.

So, because Jarrett is out, it is not that serious?? What do you consider serious? Is murder serious? How about attempted murder? How about putting a gun (real, pellet or toy does not matter to the victim and to the lawmakers in our society, and it shouldn't) to someone's head and threatening to blow their head off, is THAT not to be considered SERIOUS? What is it that you consider to be serious these days? Obviously, you have mistaken low bail for "not that serious", whereas bail amounts do not mean "serious or not serious" but are set to guarantee a defendants appearance at trial. Guess you don't understand how the law works, since you obviously consider these types of crimes, not serious. Whomever raised you did a good job...LOL...You are an excellent role model for your "lil brother"....

Sorry kids. Yeah, it was serious. Why not? The ammount? Nobody hurt? You're wrong. Mousa was hurt because someone put a gun to his head. Real or not. Ever have a gun put to head and told your head will be blown off. Sorry, your upstanding friends made some pretty stupid decisions. So let them deal with it. And my li' morons the Syrians have lived in Allentown longer than you have. You are children.
Why don't you go down to Elias's and offer them some kindness since their son fought for this country. I'm pretty liberal and tolerant but you are dissing people to defend your so-called friends behavior. Put a squirt gun to my sons head and then call him a drama queen. Your generation thrives and gets rewarded for all you "drama". BTW, why don't you waste a little more time studing...3rd graders can spell drama. It's only a 5 letter word.

Good for you Jonathan!! I agree about that idiot Edwin bringing race into this, as no way is this a race thing, on my end, as I have many good Hispanic and Black friends all over the Lehigh Valley, and they all feel the same way you do, that there is a minority, like these two young idiots, and people like Edwin and the others on this forum, who don't fully realize the difference between right and wrong. Not only are they "blind", but they are "deaf" and "dumb" too...These creeps have no respect for anyone, and when they get caught and thrown into the can, they start crying and saying it was not a bid deal. Unbelievable!!
