I used to have rentals. It was like adopting highly dysfunctional adult children. The end came when one Christmas a tenant refused to pay rent because she needed to buy her kids gifts and just could not understand why I wanted rent. How selfish of me! The door swings both ways.

A good landlord would have tried to work with her. You were a slumlord!

When Ken posted this topic he wasn't referring to the good landlords in the city. He was referring to landlord who do not take care of their properties and violate rental rights. I am the President of the Tenant Association Of Allentown. We are not saying all landlords are bad landlords. There are of course renters that are bad to. If a tenant is peeing on carpets then yes I agree with the landlord taking action. If a landlord doesn't have their property up to code then I agree the tenant should take action. It goes both ways but we are an association for tenants who rights are being violated and currently living in properties not up to code.

I am not sure what you are asking? Can you clarify what your asking? If your talking about fictitious corporations then every fictitious corporation has officers of the corporation that are responsible for that fictitious corporation.

It just takes some investigating.

If a landlord doesn't take care of their property the city can take action. Myself and Ken just found out some information we did not know about that the city can legally do. We will be making them aware of it.

$3000 a year for a rental business license on a residential property. Also, the business owner will be charged $250 everytime the police are called for a problem at the business. I have no problem with a comercial apartment complex that has a manager present to manage the business and deal with the problems.

Jean are you a welfare slug? NO he doesn't have to "work with her" she had an obligation to PAY her bill, which she knew was due every month. BTW, Jean Christmas whether you realize it or not, comes at the same time EVERY year. Why didn't the slug buy a little through out the year then she would have gifts her kids, AND her rent money.
Oh that's right that's how a normal, responsible person would handle it, not a welfare slug mommy.
Are you a wefare slug, mommy, Jean?

most don't think that far, or they aren't able to understand it. Its their "right" to destroy it, they don't own it what do they care. Typical mentality of the welfare crowd. Yet those are the first to scream how run down their rental properties are, yet they don't understand its because of slugs like themselves.
Lets see how long it takes them to destroy the "new" Cumberland Gardens
