Allow me to explain. YOU are the joke. Posters here have told you that in so many ways. You don't get it because you are such an incredible fool.
And you sir, are incredibly rude.
Many posters here do not consider Pat a fool, but consider people who are rude & abusive for their own entertainment to be not only fools but a lower form of life.

Go Drink another Budweiser and smoke another Marlboro, cowboys.
I don't agree with the abuse of drugs or the irresponcible use of drugs. Like the attempted molestation of Learys daughter, after he and his friends over did their little experiment. Or the parents that drink and drive with the children in the car not to mention the possibility of killing others in their path. I have no problem with the occasional social drink or smoke. But most people now don't know what occasional means. Also some people, in some jobs have to be more responsible. If I had a few drinks and took my schoolbus out with kids in it, and plowed into your house I'm sure you wouldn't be defending my alcohol use. And you don't have to be rude and curse.

Wow, tough guy has to pick on a kid...and Happy Feet...She can write what she wants...its called freedom of speech. If she is old enough to know whats going on, then she can express her feelings.

I read the article but maybe I missed some things...I know he had coke ON him but did it say anything about it being IN his system? Yea yea yea, I know I know...having that much on him he probably was using and he has a history of it, etc. But we all made comments about him being a user. Was he? or just a seller? I know neither one is right but Im just curious.

Sorry to be crude, but I'm sick of the morality brigade's crusade against personal freedoms.

FACT: The moral majority is neither.

As opposed to telling children they shouldn't be on here....maybe we should all keep in mind that children DO read the paper, are affected by stories, have opinions, and want to be heard. These forums are NOT exclusively for adults and with that in mind...maybe many here should start acting like adults and remember that children are reading what you have to say. Kudos to the little girl that spoke out and so innocently attached her name....many hide behind false names because they say things they wouldn't normally say face to face. To the fools who chose to target this young girl for some spelling errors...shame on you. She stated that she was in 5th grade and I do not know of many 10 year olds who do not make spelling mistakes.

I'm also assuming that you'd like to take away Hopkin's doctorate based on the fact that he was a life long morphine user. Because, oh my gosh, think of the children when they learn a college, many hospitals and scholarships were named after a junkie!

Save the babies!

This I agree with 100 percent. In fact, should not those who are affected the most (the students) be able to have a say in what's happening? No, of course not. They're just kids, not humans.. what was I thinking?

Best we brainwash them with more crap. Hey! TRL is on...

If it was anyone else this would not be a topic for everyone to comment on, but being he is a school teacher his punishment should be no different then others. He has to be taught a lesson just as well as any other one would be taught. If he is brought back into the school how is this teacher influencing our children whom go to sheckler elementary. How is this setting an example to our children. Whether he was a good or bad teacher the bottom line is the example and impression this will leave on the children. I don't know about any other parent, but my children are my world and I leave them in care of a teacher 7 hours out of the day if not more, and to feel as though my kids could be at harm is not what we should be feeling. It makes me loose confidence in the school district and teachers that are hired. What ever happened to random drug testing? This is another school where a teacher is using. What is this saying about the school boards, and what are the school boards going to do to protect our children.
Have you ever done drugs? Well yes, of course you have. I bet you've used Tylenol, Advil, Robitussin, perhaps smoked a little pot in your youth, maybe drank to excess once or twice? In fact, if this guy was a drunkard (I have no problems with drunks, me being one, but I call a spade a spade) you probably A.) would never have heard of this, B.) wouldn't care (or would think what he does is his own business). Guess what? Cocaine is a high that lasts less then an hour. You know how long alcohol takes to go through your system? Look it up, and then shut up.

Dear Captain...you strike me as someone who might enjoy the book, "From Chocolate to Morphine" (Andrew Weiland)

Well I'm glad I'm providing entertainment to someone! Seriously, I'm not really trying to be an ass (okay a little bit)!

Actually, that looks like a really good book. Thank you for pointing it out.

You know, normally I wouldn't be so brash, but as I have admitted I am a drunkard (and drunk at the moment). Also, sometimes I just get sick of seeing good people's lives being ruined over silly things. Normally I'm quite reserved. Oh well, chock it up to the devil drink.

Why am I still up drinking? I have a Spanish midterm tomorrow (today)!

¡Qué lastima!

You know, I'm a drunk, yet I some how refrain from drinking if I know I'll have to drive sometime within the next 8 hours.

Just because he does the "Devil's powder" doesn't mean he's snorting it on the clock. I know that's a hard concept to grasp, since it is well documented that every person in history who's ever used a recreational drug is pure evil and will rape your precious snowflakes, but please bare with me.

IF he was doing drugs while in charge of his class, you know what? Throw the damn book at him. Just from what I've read from the MC, there is no evidence supporting this. If there is something else showing that he has been using while at school, you know what, he's probably a scumbag and screw him.

I'd still rather he get help than hard time, and that's just me, but I don't have any sympathy for those that use and put others at risk.

NO Help- I don't work their, I am just educated enough to know the law. The teachers in Catty have nothing to be embarrassed about. They ALL didn't get arrested. I am sure the teachers at Catty are sad for Mr. Abraham and his family. He is a teacher, but most importantly he is a human being. Teachers and any other person with a good, kind heart will be more concerned with Mr. Abraham and his family rather than themselves during a sad time like this. Nice try though- good thing you are not a detective! I wasn't taking offense to your comment, I was only stating the facts.

Unforunately you have a drinking problem and it is a shame for you, but if you were not drinking when reading this then maybe you would make sense of what was wrote. I am a mother with children whom go to sheckler. Maybe you are a facility member trying to defend the wrong doing, and that is a shame. Instead of babbling on, and on take a look closely at what was wrote. I guess you do not have children that go to the school, and if you don't then whom are you to critize or judge another. Read this when you a sober and have children this would impact don't be foolish.

RE the posts "for" this teacher; whether or not students were involved, whether or not you consider it a "victimless" crime, the fact of the matter is, what he did was against the law. He's certainly old enough to know better, but chose to break the law anyhow. He made his choice, now he has to pay the penalty. If anyone believes the laws aren't fair, you can try to change them.
