Remember Andy Warhol's "in the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes"?

We need to amend that to: "in the future, everyone will be a criminal for something"

Oh my! Heavens to Betsy! I am shocked and appalled. Whatever is this world coming to? My goodness gracious, what's next? Selling counterfeit BEER perhaps? This must be what those super smart police officers call a "gateway crime." (I'm JOKING of course...)

No, but it's a question of priorities. With more serious crime going on at or near the races, this is what the police chose to tackle? Puh-leez. I'm sure there were plenty of drunks on the roads who probably got away with driving intoxicated while the cops were arresting this guy. That's what really blows.

Maybe if the venues and artists/athletes wouldn't charge an arm and a leg for their products this wouldn't happen. People do these things to make a living; and help those who can't pay $40-$50 for a shirt have a sourvenir from the event. Get over it!

i got a $ 5 Bob Dylan shirt in the parking lot when he was here. I knew it wasnt "real" but bought it anyway. You know why? Cause it was 5 bucks!! vs 40 inside... This has been going on for years, and will continue. Next time the guy will b more resourceful, like putting about 20 of them down his pants to sell... not from his truck. Thats where he got stoopid!!

What exactly are "counterfeit T-shirts", like Y-shirts? L-shirts?

Come on, give this unemployed auto worker from Michigan a break.

Dumb ash should have hooked up with Nascar and got permission to sell the shirts for $35.00 and he would have gotten 1/2 or $17.50 and would have been ahead of the game. Now he gets nothing but 3 squares until his hearing.

The man is an entrepeneur. Let it go. Why don't you look for the big drug dealers and wife beaters and other organized crime? Let this small man go.....for Chrissakes! Policemen scum. You are bordering on meter maid territory.

So in reality, all this person did was create their own tee shirt, try to sell it, and they end up having the Pocono Raceway cry foul; because they got nothing out of the deal. Once again we see the greed coming from those who stuffed enough money in their pockets this weekend to make it all the way through another year.
