Two hurt in early morning crash

The 33-year-old driver, who was not identified, was driving a sport utility vehicle eastbound in the 600 block of Union Boulevard at about 2 a.m., when the SUV struck a tree.

If you have ever seen or smelled the aftermath of a horrific accident like this one, you would not be so quick to make ridiculous comments. A mother lost her son, a child lost their parent, a wife lost her spouse. Seeing their blood mingled with gas, oil, anti-freeze and rain while smelling burnt hair, flesh, and rubber is the reality of this incident. I hope none of you ever experience such a thing.
