When Allentown's Plump King and Plump Panto have a challenge it is who has the highest cholesterol level. I hope the have CPR experts standing buy for these two overweight tub-bows. At the end of the challenge they can see who can eat the most Yocco hot dogs and french fries. The third challenge is to see if the Plump King can stand up after eating 36 hot dogs, 12 orders of fries and 6 milkshakes. The final challenge is who has the fattest head and biggest ego. Our king is sure to represent Allentown well and win all the challenges hands down over the other mayors. He can then prance around and tell us how great things are in our fine city. What a king, he makes all of the serfs in his kingdom proud.

You can be slim and still have high cholesterol. I have had it for years. Heredity can be the culprit too. The problem is that most prescription drugs for high cholesterol can raise blood glucose levels, contributing to type II Diabetes. Doctors don't like to admit that though.

I'm not saying that everyone who has Diabetes is because they take prescription drugs for high cholesterol, but it has been shown that many of these drugs can raise blood sugar/glucose by 9%. For some, who have taken these drugs for years, have developed type II Diabetes, but not full blown Diabetes. When they went off the drug, their blood glucose returned to normal. Diabetes can run in families, but obviously anyone who is overweight and eats an unhealthy high fat diet including sugary pastries, sodas, and lack of exercise, is at a higher risk for developing it at some point in their life.
