Why are people ALLOWED to mooch off of the government?

I know some people that just totally mooch off of the system, and are allowed. I have a friend that has a niece that is 27 yrs. old, and she now has 4 kids. She has been on welfare since she was 18. That is 9 yrs. Her kids are 10, 9, 7,and 5, all in school. What I want to know is why is she allowed to stay on welfare? Why was she allowed to get on welfare at the age of 18, with NO disability at all? She even lies, and lives with her family members, and has other people take her kids for months at a time. I also know a guy who is 24, and is collecting SSI. He tells his Dr. that he can't work, he says he has anger issues... But he is working under the table doing roofing, and construction work. He smokes pot every day, and drinks on weekends. He has 1 child that is 5, and he pays nothing for her, and now has a 2 yr. old with a different girl. What I want to know about this is, why the he** is he allowed to mooch off the system? He tells the Dr. something, and is allowed to collect money for nothing. I even know a guy who is almost 40, who collects SSI for his drug addiction. He has been using cocaine for years, so now he is allowed to collect cash every month. He is another one who works under the table, and is making very good money. Plus his wife collects SSI checks for their kids because of him collecting, she collects everything she can from welfare, her brother lives with them, and he collects SSI, and most of the time they have her mom, dad, cousins... living with them, and paying rent... WHY is this allowed??? And yes, I did repot these people. NOTHING was done. I reported them for social security fraud, and welfare fraud... Nothing. I see young people all the time when I go shopping that pay for their food with their access cards, even though they run through the stores, with no problem at all, but for some reason can't work. I as a tax payer am disgusted by this misuse of tax dollars. We need serious welfare, and social security reform! I have a step brother that is completely blind since birth, and is mentally challenged, and he works every day. If he, and others like him can work, why can't these lazy bums? I guess they can, but since they are so easily allowed to sit on their lazy as**s and mooch off of the tax payers, they just choose not to! Something needs to be done. All I ever hear about is taxes need to be raised for this, and that, how about cutting irresponsible spending? How about making these bums get jobs? Even if they do jobs the state would pay to have done, like painting things, cleaning things... I say if they want money, make them work for it, and stop forcing the hard working tax payers pay for them. Unless they are TOTALLY disabled, they CAN work. Doesn't anyone have any sense or guts to fix this mess?
