A Brighton, Colorado police department is recommending felony charges be filed against a female high school teacher accused of having an inappropriate sexual encounter with a teenage student.

Carrie McCandless is an attractive flirt and tease. She has likely been that type individual all her life and has used her looks and appearance to get all that she has in life. She has proven that she has the IQ of a rock and it is amazing that she has gotten educational credentials needed to become a schoolteacher. Maybe that’s why she developed some type of immature relationship with Tommy Clay (only using his name because he decided to on national television as part of his “healing” process). Tommy’s performance on the show I saw gave the impression that he too has the IQ of a rock or something less that probably explains why they were attracted to each other. It also seems that the entire group on the weekend trip were a collection of losers with all behaving badly and it certainly wasn’t the first time for any of them. It was likely a continuation of a trend. Carrie was clearly wrong for flirting and teasing with a student and that is no real debate. By the same token, Tommy was likely after her like a puppy on a bone and knew well what he was attempting to do with a married woman. At 17 and soon to be 18, he was no child and clearly knew or should have known and taken responsibility for his actions and plans. He will likely have problems in the future and they have nothing to do with Carrie McCandless. Carrie has now ruined her life and been exposed for the looser and mentally deficient individual she is and has likely been all her life. That is the only rational reason why and individual would through away a promising future as a result of being involved with a zero kid like Tommy. She likely used her good looks and body to get her teaching credentials and we wonder why kids aren’t learning today. If Carrie has a brain at all, which is questionable, she would wake up for the rest of her life saying what the hell was I thinking??? Based on her expression in the court pictures, she hasn’t learning anything from the experience. If she breaks probation, she will certainly learn a very big lesson.

sure wish a hottie like carrie mccandless would have hit on me in high school! a few lessons, some practice, a whole lot of fun and one heck of an ego booster. c'mon, bet a bunch of you guys (probably all of you) would squeeze a left nut to have this type of experience. if there was no violence, no drugs or any other type of trickery (sp?), what the heck! of course, they should stay away from the school (although in high school dances, we were known for sneaking around the school to make out!- i'm sure you all did too!) just to avoid any unwanted heat (sts)! good for tommy - what a valuable lesson learned, and from a teacher!!!! bet his grin lasts for a long time...
