I am so outraged. It makes me sick to my stomach when people go and hurt, kill harmless animals. they really must not have a life of their own to be able to go and kill an animal. I really wish that the fine and punishment would get stricker for those that choose to harm, hurt, neglect, kill animals. You really need to be evaluated if you are able to do such things to creatures that live and share the air we do.

I totally agree. He should be beat with an umbrella as well. I don't know if this is a felony in NJ or not. If not, it should be. Judges need to be more strict when it comes to cases such as this.

This is just sick. People need to learn that the animals were here first and have a right to be here. I know they can be a pain but to kill an innocent animal like that and all he gets is a fine. Maybe a couple whacks upside his head with his own umbrella would teach him a lesson. Another show of disgusting human behavior. How sad.

But seriously, he should have caught the geese, kept them in a pen, got them fat and killed them for dinner...We eat geese and don't even start on me bleeding hearts...you all have eaten chicken.

Penalties for animal abuse NEED to be stronger. There is NO reason for killing baby geese, and this person is seriously SICK if he's smiling after committing such a heinous act. Persons who commit these crimes against animals are more likely to go on to commit crimes against humans, so stronger action is definitely needed! Federal and state government ... WAKE UP!!!

This is why our law makers need to see the importance of making it a true CRIME to abuse/kill ANY living thing, human or animal. There are very sick mean individuals out there who prey on the helpless. It would be very pleasing to find this jerk and abuse him for a while tho.
