Mahwah park police shoot man during argument

It happened Saturday in Ringwood State Park. Bergen County prosecutors are unsure what happened.

I think it all could of been avoided if they weren't up there breaking the law in the first place. Why fight if it's only over riding a ATV in a prohitbited area. Why didn't they say ok and just go some where else. It's sad that people are fighting over such little things. And as for the guy dying..It was just his time...no getting around that. God says when your time is up...and there is no preventing it once that day comes.

I think that it's "Very" "Rude" to make a comment like that mchl30. Was you there? Did you see anyone breaking the law? It doesn't sound like anyone in this thread has dealt with Jackson Whites too much. They call themselves Native Americans, but believe me that's a real stretch. The Iroquois League doesn’t even recognize them as truly Native Americans.

These people have been causing trouble for years. Everyone around here knows that you don’t go up the mountain. The Jackson Whites have guns and they shoot first and ask questions later.

Umm, maybe you. When you come into any neighborhood, whether in Mahwah or Greenwich, CT, if you are snooping around, people generally think you're up to no good.
