Be nice if more people practiced that mantra. The problem I have is that aside from his decision to allow the Navy Seals to pop those little Somalian pirate's heads when they hijacked an American vessel, there hasn't been one thing - NOT ONE DECISION - that Obama has made that I agree with. I don't even like the beer he drinks :)

Big O, question: Do you believe the jobs saved/created figures that this administration reported?
It's just a question, no sneak attack motives. You just seem like one of the few Obama-supporting posters willing to discuss actual points in between flinging the usual boring insults.
Good Day,

Indeed, a good point. How can they say they that when unemployment is still on the rise? More jobs lost vs. created is still a net loss!

I haven't seen it yet, but my husband told me about it. He thinks there are going to be tons of accidents right there.

Can we at least agree on the the notion that ANY beer drinking by a President is a good thing? I wonder how much better his military decisions would be if he put on his "beer goggles". We should get to see all our presidents drunk at least once before they take office. Thats the only way to really get to know them.(unfortunately it hasn't worked real well for us in Congress)

Yeah, it's going to be fender-bender city, for sure. I've almost been hit BOTH times I've gone through. I'm detouring around it, from now on. It's completely asinine. If they wanted to make the intersection safer, they could have just put up a stoplight, for crying out loud!

Another blame it on Bush post. Rome wasn't built in a day but it was destroyed in one. The democratic hope and changers are so filled with media induced hatred for Bush that they are quite willing to watch as their own country is flushed down the toilet. Sadly, I don't believe many of you will ever wake up to real agenda of this administration. You'll just go on making excuses for them ad nauseum while your freedoms dwindle away to nothing.
Yes it's another blame it on Bush post, you darn right, as long as you don't acknowledge Bush's failures. Why do you think his approval rating went down so fast? And as far as dwindling freedoms are concerned, you only need to look to the patriot acts to see the start of that. Guess who started that one??

Guess who's continuing that? If Obama was about the "change you can believe in " so much as he is about the "change we warned you about", he'd have reversed the patriot act and implemented something much more democratic. Instead he continues to wallow in his own progressivism while continuing to carry on with the worst Bush policies. Basically, he's Bush on steriods doing his best Roosevelt impression with a good amount of black colonial marxism mixed in, all in cahoots with nancy Pelosi and the liberal clown posse. What a wonderful FrankenBama Monster Frank marshall Davis and Bill Ayers created - and you elected him.

You very eloquently made my point for me. Live in the past and continue to make excuses for Obama because he's your guy. See you in the Gulag, Komrade.

To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.
So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go.
I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change...... I gave it to them.

2. Upper middle class?? What in dollars does that mean to you? To me it would be $50,000 -$100,000 ... maybe to you it is $150,000 -$250,000?
3. Stop self-medicating yourself ... and use spell check.
Great reply, but you really think 50-100K is middle class? Maybe it's because I have three kids, but I'm in that range and would consider my self low-mid middle class.

Seeing as you have at least a rudimentary understanding of (the) economy - business can't sell enough of their products or services so prices have to be raised or people have to be laid off, it's now time to learn wages equate to purchasing power and when people aren't earning money they stop purchasing some products and cut back on purchasing what they actually need. How long before Obama was it that businesses have been outsourcing production and then the jobs themselves? Do you suppose that those lack of jobs and or wages here equate to not having money to spend here? Suppose? Do you honestly believe that all this has happened in the (almost) 11 months Obama is president? It's time to move past the 101 stage and get into the details of what makes it all happen instead of relying on your rudimentary understanding as being the entire answer to spread to the rest of the population.

And when were those jobs lost and being lost? This has all happened since Obama was elected? Seriously?

Outsourcing of production and then jobs were going on long before Obama was elected. And wasn't it Bush also that said HE would create jobs here? As you should remember Bush 'promised' that tax cuts would create jobs - as that would leave the businesses more money to create jobs and the investors more to invest in jobs. Well time has proven that to be a repeated wrong theory.

and this from the Fair Tax group, not some left wing radical "leftist, socialist, Marxist" group in 2004; with four years left for Bush to create reaality;

Would seem that Republican tax cuts don't create jobs:

I believe we were told at the beginning of this year that unemployment would continue to rise for awhile. Adding jobs is at the end of the cycle.

So let me get this right. You are saying that raising taxes, raising the cost of power to run the business's, and forcing a costly health care bill will help stimulate the economy? Let's stop pitching rocks at Bush and Clinton, and get down to the insane policies of our new leader. I'm sorry but I don't see things getting better under these policies.

Good Day,

Honestly, from what I have seen so far, or more importantly have not seen, from this administration I think history may judge el presidente more harshly than his predecessor. He was touted as some messiah would fix all wrongs, all I see is a lot of talk. No seriously, do you remember a president who gave soooo many speeches? Maybe if he spent more time doing his job vs. writing and giving speeches he might have gotten more things done, just saying...
