The same thing may have occured to us last week MOnday night/ early Tuesday morning in Georgetown township. My husband went to leave the house on Tuesday morning and discovered our garage door was wide open. After further searches, we have discovered that about $500 in tools are gone, the garage door opener was thrown ten feet off the road into our yard, and different compartments in one of our vehicles were opened. I had accidently left it unlocked the night previous in our driveway. PLease urge your viewers to lock everything nowadays; we are thankful it was only tools lost.

So tired of people robbing and burgularizing everything. Afraid to go anywhere and even leave your doors unlocked while your home. Wish these people would get jobs like the hardworking people they're hitting.

The only problem with locking cars is that if they want it bad enough they just bust the windows out. Or they use a screwdriver and jack up the locks. This creates even more of an expense. I would suggest locking but also. motion detector lights and alarms. Again more of an expense, it really is sad people have to do this. Where has America gone wrong?

It will continue to get excedingly worse with the ecomony in michigan...This is employers market not a job seeker...Jobs of most any kind in areas do not exist..if they do Towns have colleges they hire first, college students (some) are not worried about how much they make..at min wage in Michigan will not support ones self let along 2 or more ppl....At 10.00 which is poverty level in Michigan..will not support one person..(if rooming, yes it will)....Guess its easier to take what is not yours to support what ever there needs are!

Excellent MistRider!!
If the lawmakers, law enforcement, politicians, and neighbors would stop and look for a minute at the root of the problem,(which by no coincidence has gotten worse as our economy has), maybe we could put an end to all of this!

I know what I am going to be doing on vacation. I will just leave the car unlocked and wait. Should be a good way to vent........

My house is like Ft. Knox. I keep the doors locked while I'm home. You can't trust ANYBODY these days.

It is not that these people just choose not to work, the fact is that they cannot find jobs. I have graduated from college and I have not been able to find a job for almost a year! The problem is that these people that are out of work are so desperate to survive they do not care about who they hurt in the process. IT IS THERE MORALS THAT ARE LACKING!!! There are lots of places you can go for help.. If you are so prideful that you have to sneak into houses in the dark sacrificing morals and all judgment, you need to seriously get your priorities straighted out!

People who work hard at finding work don't steal. People looking for drug money is the real majority cause for thefts.

NO WAY it is no wonder you can't find a job. You can't even use the right grammar when your trying to make a point. Your THERE should be THEIR. Try going back for a few more credits.....probably in english or writing. In the meantime enjoy my donation to the welfare system!!!

ok if you are gonna be dumb enough to leave your car unlock when you have a garage. It is your own stupidity and if I was your insurance agent I would laugh at you and tell you its your own fault. Think about it people. People are robbing banks, robbing people, stealing things. we are in a hardship right now and people are doing stupid things to get money. I may not have much but I damn sure my car is locked every night even though I live in a queit neighborhood but thats not gonna stop some low life robber from another city, they will not just rob in their neighborhood.

Ok, I am not the grammar police and I have caught myself with the typo of there and their because I was going to fast. The word you spelled english should be English. It is a topic, subject. Just saying.

Since you ARE busy pointing fingers, your (correctly used) first "your" should be either "you are" or "you're".

So can we assume you're still working on your credits while I'm paying into that same welfare system?

Don't you just hate it when that happens?

Wonderful, it's the victim's fault for trusting that their property is safe.

Long past time for some criminals to learn about lead poisoning. Even the ones breaking into cars.
