I am so sick of PETA. Fine when they were protesting fur, but their real adgenda is to get rid of all domestic animals and pets. PETAS's track record of killing animals that are supposed to go into shelter isn't very good either.

PETA is so full of it...

Animal protein is the basis of human intelligence

survival based on the act of hunting has turned the human race from cavemen to modern man

eating animal is in our blood...birds fly, fish swim, and humans kill dumber animals for food

I'm sorry but you people make me laugh...you are so ignorant it's untrue. Why are you speaking so hatefully about people who are trying to do something positive in society? Everyone is entitled to an opinion and if they so wish to advertise or encourage vegetarianism, so be it!
You may not agree, but have you noticed how vegetarians don't get upset that you choose to eat meat? Though you seem so dumbfounded and almost offended that people make this choice!
And to the person above who claims that animal protein is the basis of human intelligence, you're living proof that the above statement is false! Protein can be found in many other foods that is much better for you, and what with intensive farming processes including pumping the animals with copious amounts of anitbiotics and growth hormones I can promise you that eating these products are diminishing any intelligence you have left!
As for the next ill informed person, you clearly don't know anything about animals, as people eat pigs and they have a higher IQ than a 3 year old! Chickens are able to create a social heirachy as one of 100 chickens and know his/her social status in this group.
Plus, you may want to look down at your stomachs and consider how your body is reacting to eating all this meat. Have you ever seen a fat vegetarian? I don't think so. So perhaps you should research something you have such a strong opinion about.
