Lock up that little punk and throw away the key! A vicious, senseless murder. He needs to be brutaly beat like Joey was. What a coward!

I agree. It doesn't matter if Chad is a "good guy" as many claim. The bottom line is his actions resulted in the death of Joey. This is murder and he will pay the price. If he is such a "good guy" what the hell is he doing fighting. He is supposed to be a grown man raising children. This is not high school anymore so grow up and stop fighting. Maybe this "good guy" should have been home with his kids instead of at a party with underage drinking.

I wonder if Joey's parents think he's a good guy.

I do not know any of the people involved but I have kept up with the story in the paper and I don't care how good or bad the victim was...did he deserve to die. Imagine your loved one being kicked in the head and watch it bounce off the curb. I understand being mad, but there is a limit...how can you not stop at some point. Obviously he cannot control his anger or temper. Shame on him and may he get what he deserves.

Chad is not a good guy who has never been in trouble, he is a know bully who loves to fight, and can't control his anger. Stop trying to justify what he did by saying bad things about the victim, regardless of the past, Joey's future was taken from him by Chad. So before you spout off why don't you tell ALL the facts. Just because Chad is a father that does not make him a good guy or loving.

Maybe you need to know the facts, Chad has never been in trouble, he worked a full time job, many of them in fact. he's 22 and owns his own home. how about you ? still live with mommy so you can party. Chad meant to kill no one, he is very remorsful. I do beleive he needed to choose better friends to be with.

None of that matters. He did kill someone, and should pay the price. The prison system is full of good people that made one bad choice. He is known as being a bully and sometimes this is the kind of thing that happens. I respect him for taking care of his family and owning a home. That is great, but he is too old to be fighting at parties. He should and will pay the price for what he has done.

OK...I honestly know the Justice System doesn't think as immaturely as you do "bystander" Maybe you should think about what your actually saying before you post it.

The facts are someone was killed and there are consequences for that action.

How exactly would you feel if your CHILD was beaten to death, you felt all that emotion throughout the 14 days your CHILD is in a coma in the hospital, and think of if YOU have to make the decision to take them off life support. Let all those thoughts and emotions marinate in your under-developed brain.

Just me, where you there ? I'm saying a young man is being wrongfulling accused. see you at the trial where more will come out. I do feel for the family that lost a son. My heart goes out to his parents. It's such a great pain to have. I do want justice just like everyone else. The blame falls on many more people. think about under age drinking, with drugs. the adults at that party should be charged also. the police department should also be held accountable, how many under age minor under the influ. tickets did they right.

If other people were involved they should be charged too. This does not make Chad innocent just because other people were involved. He is where he should be, facing a murder charge, and if others are involved than he should give up thier names to the police. I mean he is such a "reat guy" he should be looking for justice. As for the cops there is no blame on them. That is just typical BS people start to use when they know they are in the wrong. "Well I did this but someoe else did that so they should be in trouble too." Give it up that is what a little kid does.

By the way bystander, Chad is 22, so what does underage drink have to do with HIS actions? I'm not saying there wasn't under age drinking or that it should be ignored, but to blame it instead of Chad is wrong, he is an adult and responsible for his actions and if he was there and knew that people under age where there and drinking then he too can be charged with contributing to a minor, everyone at that party 21 and older can be charged. As far as anyone else involved well then they to should be charged, but if there are others then Chad needs to name them, I'm sorry but reality is he has to pay for what he has done, whether he meant to kill anyone, feels horrible, has a job, home, kids or not. To answer your guestion, I own my home. Haven't lived in "mommy's" home since I was 16, and I don't party or drink, and I have a fulltime job. Obviously you are very close to Chad and this is very personal for you, but remember we are all held accountable for our actions whether the outcome was our intent or not, don't think for one moment that I don't feel for Chad's family, and I believe he feels horrible and it's heartbreaking that his children may have to grow up without him home, and all that goes with it, the are innocent victims of this mess, but it is what it is and blaming everything and everyone else isn't going to change it.

its sad for all the families involved but no matter what anyone says now it will all come out in court. chad will pay for what he has done and maybe when he gets out hell think before he kicks one more time. maybe hell think about the consequences. or maybe he wont.

typical lincoln park trash. 22 and now going to prison, well he's going to lose that house he supposedly owns, and lose those numerous jobs he supposedly held down, it's a bunch of shit, if he was working all these jobs and was such a good father, he would have been at home(too tired from working all these jobs to go partying)with his family but he was partying like an immature teen still in high school, and acting like one. well now Mr. tough guy wigger, you can fight all you want in prison.
The downriver community can now say good riddance to one more lincoln park wigger.
